Got a call from my guy at MB (Brisbane) today and their launch car is available on the 9th July, so I've locked in a test drive that day.
I'll post some thoughts about it afterwards, but the blood is already pumping thinking about it.
Apparently there's no official launch event seeing they did that for the sedan already. Also no mention of any issues with the HUD or build delays in reference to what's been said on some of the other threads on here, so all looking good at this stage. The countdown is getting closer and just happy there's finally a light flickering at the end of the tunnel with this wait period.
I'll post some thoughts about it afterwards, but the blood is already pumping thinking about it.

I'm so keen to see it, I've seen a few standard coupes flying around Sydney... They look pretty damn good.

i went to a nearby dealer (my coworker's hubby works there) and placed my order for a c63 s coupe.

Thanks! He didn't give an ETA. Just filled out an order form, charged my credit card 2K USD, handed me a receipt and a copy of the form, and told me he'll keep me updated. He did say around October, but that was just his estimation. Nothing official. We didn't even discuss price. But I trust him to give me a fair deal.
