Great spec! Quite similar to mine except red pepper seats and carbon fibre trim for me. I'm liking the improved online configurator as well but selenite looks quite dark on the US configurator
colour in the UK configurator looks a little closer to the real thing:
nice, i see you are in the states, did you or can you remove those ugly two bumps on the rear bumper by the license plate? It kills the look of the rear so bad. I heard they were drilled in too, so removing yourself would leave a hole.

Actually I'm in the UK and we don't get those ugly rear bumps (thank God for that) and I agree they look so out of place, really ruins the rear end. In terms of removing them there were some suggestions a few pages back in this thread I believe.
So I happened to pass a few dealers today and saw the standard coupe sitting in the yard. One was outside so took some pics. I know it's not the AMG version (or selenite metallic), but I tell you what even this got the heart pumping seeing it in the metal. The lines of the window and sides of the car just look stunning, and the rear end is even better than what the photos look like. Can't wait to see the first C63 in person. I saw one on the road the other day... looked great!
Checked out 2 "standard" C205 coupe examples yesterday both in palladium duco.
Must say they didn't 'pop' for me as I thought it would seeing them in the metal, (maybe it's because I saw the C63 first and then these) I have seen one other in black and for some reason it stood out more and was much more appealing, certainly shape/colour combo makes a difference depending on individual perception, I'm sure the slightly more featured C43's will stand out more.
The C63 version definitely looks the goods, have seen one already a couple of months back and all of you waiting to take delivery will not be disappointed, there's a big visual difference between it and the regular variants

Agree with you on that, I've seen 5 regular 205 coupes in the wild in the UK and the 2 I saw in black looked best (although the brilliant blue one that my dealerships manager is using isn't bad at all either).
My sales-guy also said the same based on his global training experience; the visual difference between the AMG and normal coupe is staggering in real life. Can't wait!
For those of you who said the coupe exhaust is different then the sedan, i think its the same.
I am interested in what lap times the coupe can do over the sedan around the ring. Anyone hear or see any info on this?
Similar exhaust note but the coupe definitely sounds slightly edgier imo, Mercedes have said the coupe's exhaust note has been tuned to be a bit more aggressive than the saloon. Guess we'll have to wait and see for some real life comparison tests.

Base C63 S starts at €120.000 here and with a few options it's going towards €160k. I'm waiting to see a few specs in real life before I place an order (mainly for exterior color).
So a dealership also told me the deliveries are delayed till summer. They think it's because they want ship to these models with the latest software. The showroom cars are coming in two months.

Wow that is stupidly expensive, thats more than a fully specced C63 S coupe in the UK! Interesting theory about new software causing delays, I've heard engine shortages as has another UK buyer but there doesn't seem to be a concrete answer as to why European deliveries were delayed :/

That is expensive =/ With that money u could get a fully specced AMG GTS here in Belgium ..

I had to see this car in person and went to the German dealership where they have the Obsidian Black C63 S Coupe as shown in the video above. And was not dissapointed! Also saw a Brilliant Blue model parked outside.
Being in Germany, it also gave me an excuse to drive (very) fast on the Autobahn
What has already been said, the AMG model looks so different than the regular C-Coupe. From the front you'll directly notice the wide fenders and the twin powerdomes. The stance looks so more agressive than what you see on pictures.
So I have made some pictures of both cars, however it was hard to capture the black coupe, due to not so ideal lighting and a smartphone camera. So I have filmed it. I can assure you Sanch, Obsidian Black looks stunning on the coupe!
