Lightbulb Interest for Winter Season Wheel/Tire Package
WINTER WHEEL/TIRE PACKAGES


So over the past few weeks, we've received lots of emails/PM's about winter wheel/tire packages.

So we listened and we have made strides in a group buy for them..... but on a f80 forum:

We helped our BMW friends generate traction and access to a group buy, so we figured we'd spread the love and send the same price cuts to everyone here too!!

I don't know if they would fit... I'd be careful.

My car is not back yet as I'm waiting for a wheel to come in from germany. I've got a pretty reputable dealer here that supplies a lot of wheels for Mercedes and I will be testing fitting some 19" wheels hopefully early next week.

The other concerns are the offsets. Specifically in the front because the brakes are so big. I would be pretty uncomfortable going in more than another 5mm. (38 - 33mm)

Do you have anything with a bigger offset to the rear, I don't want it to come as far out as you show now.

What's the cost of these rims and how different do these compare to the offset of the standard 19" wheels?

Just double checking, the larger the offset number, the more the wheel goes towards the center of the car? I.e. - the stock rears are 56 offset while yours is 42. So does the 42 mean that it goes out towards the wheel well more?

lower the offset the wheel plain moves outward, in this case 14mm.

Go to www.willtheyfit.com - you can try different offsets and see a graphical representation of the differences.
