You can close the trunk remotely by pushing the release button.
(also from the rear by kicking again)
In Automatic shifting mode, you can see what Gear the car is in at all times by using the AMG screen in the multifunction display. Most cars keep you guessing and just display "D"
Using the Mercedes "Companion" app on my Apple Watch, I can view the amount of fuel (range), current tire pressures, send locations to the car, and locate the car itself.... all from my wrist !!

Yes, you not only can open the trunk by briefly kicking underneath the bumper, but I accidentally discovered that you can close it that way also (or by pressing the key fob trunk button, or by pressing and holding the trunk release button inside the drivers door)

Yeah, I was actually relieved to find that feature since the coupes lack a trunk pull-action lever. I wonder if there's anything else we'll stumble upon

Even with the sedan, if equipped with the performance seats, there's a magnet where you can let the seatbelt fastener rest on so it doesn't hit the plastic on the side of the seats. Lessens the rattling if you don't have a passenger.

Interesting.... regarding item #12 my 2016 c63s doesn't have an exhaust specific button. I only have the dynamic selector and when I hit start button twice it doesn't let me toggle to sport+ What if anything am I doing wrong or over looking? I love the sound in sport+ mode but defaults to comfort mode. I believe I even tried individual mode with same results.
Try it again, its really cool! But, it does default back to comfort once you shut the engine off. So, you'll have to do it all the time if you want the car to start in sport+ with that sound.

hmmm... i don't have the performance exhaust either but i am able to toggle to sport+. Are you sure your foot is off the brake pedal? When you press the start/stop button twice, the dash is supposed to be lit like a xmas tree, this is when you can toggle to sport+ using the selector. How were you able to try individual mode without passing thru sport+?

Yes it's very cool to know which gear you're in. I also like that with the AMG it shows you the trans and engine oil temps so along with the main coolant temp to you have all of the pertinent info at hand.
I'm quite amazed how quick the engine oil temp comes up to normal while the trans takes forever to warm up.

Push the start button twice with foot off the brake and them push the exhaust button or push to I mode where you have it set to have exhaust loud & S+ on and then put foot on brake and start normally and it will start in LOUD mode.
I don't know how they have set up the C43.
You can also hit start with foot on the brake and before it starts move your finger quickly to the mode button and push once up to I mode and it will start in loud/S+

I have a better trick to start the car in performance exhaust.
What I do is right after I push the start button, I immediately press on the exhaust button. Hohoho... try it and you can thank me later !!

I wonder what would happen if you press the exhaust button before starting the car ... anybody tried that? My car's on order . Worst case scenario, I will have to program a microcontroller and hook it up to the driving mode button and exhaust, to remember the last setting it was in, and right after start switch driving mode and exhaust.

Every time I get into my car, I turn it on and push the switch up to I (engine/suspension: sport, exhaust: sport+) and it switches to I before the engine starts up. There's no need to get a special micro controller or rush to tap the exhaust button. Just put your foot on the brake, press the engine on button, and push the switch up. It works 99% of the time.
PS. For those of you who didn't know, having the exhaust flaps open has varying results in C, S, and S+, ie. flaps open doesn't sound the same across all settings.

I am resurrecting this to report that on 2019 C63s there’s a trick to create an “emotional” start sound. Per manual you can hold one of the paddles while starting the car and you’d get a louder start. Have at it!

New C63S arrived yesterday! One of the most annoying things to me is the auto shut off at stops. Other than the button on the console, is there a way to override that feature permanently?

Other than using the button you mentioned, you can also put it in a more aggressive driving mode (Sport, Sport+). Those modes automatically deactivate the auto stop/start feature. That's pretty much all you can do.
