NOISE FROM DASH!!!
I have this noise that sounds like a rocking chair squeal. It happens on uneven road or going over bumps and speed bumps. I tried looking through the forum and couldn't find anything. I also took it to the dealer and they claimed they couldn't hear it, which isn't true because if the front axle shifts it makes the noise. Does anyone have a solution or suggestions??

That's definitely what I'm hearing. This past weekend was the first time I was able to drive in cool dry weather when I heard it. I could never hear it in the rain or when it was hot.

I definitely get this exact noise as well, especially on colder days on hilly roads or going over a speed bump.

Mine is making the same noise as well. It only happens when the weather is cold.

Gee I am glad I didn't jump from the 204 to the 205. I am reading of so many annoying issues for owners. MB really needs to take a serious look at their customer service as it relates to owners with these problems. I bought the E400 coupe as a stop gap until the face lift comes in but I think I will move to an Audi. They are silly people.

I have yet to take mine in, have been pretty lazy and traveling a lot, but I believe, as I posted on another thread, that there's a service bulletin regarding this: LI32.20-P-061806. It's from the front struts. I searched on XENTRY TIPS for our model and symptoms and this bulletin seemed to be the issue we're dealing with. The bulletin calls for a replacement of the front struts.

Same here! Disappointing cuz I had this exact noise from the Pano roof on my 2013 C63. Now this car !!!
