New to the forum. I am interested in buying a used C63S from an out of town dealer and they sent me the window sticker which lists "AMG Dynamic Exhaust System" as one of the standard options.
Is this same as the 1250$ option that shows up on the build page on MB's website? Was it a standard feature originally which was later made optional?
I just want to confirm if the car has the performance exhaust or not.

My car has the performance exhaust and it was listed under the options, not the standard features. I believe the car you're looking at does not have the optional exhaust.
That being said, the optional exhaust is my favorite feature on my car. If you can find one with it, it's worth it!
Yes, dynamic exhaust is different from performance exhaust. Performance exhaust is optional and has the infamous button on the center console that makes a great sounding exhaust sound even better!
If all the performance exhaust adds is the electronic cutouts and not much else then it's actually not too expensive to make the standard exhaust similar to the performance exhaust. You'd just have to get aftermarket electronic cutouts that partially bypass the mufflers or if you want even more noise then you could get ones which fully bypass the mufflers.
If I remember correctly it'd cost $750 Canadian to get the electronic cutouts that fully bypass the muffler at the exhaust shop I was at. Don't know whether or not that's with labor.

PLEASE HELP ASAP: DOES the edition 1 package come with the AMG Dynamic performance exhaust? On the sticker, under the P31 edition 1 package, it states that it has AMG Performance Exhaust but I want to make sure that it is the AMG Dynamic Performance exhaust that costs additional. Does this come standard on the Edition 1? Please help me asap so i can make the decision to buy the car tonight

No don't misunderstand. I was actually explaining how one can tell as they use the words on sticker, build sheet and spec lists. I didn't mean as a jab at you.
