Just purchased dvdinmotion online, and can confirm it works. I used it on my 2016 C450 AMG. Not only does the dvd work, but you can use other functions that are typically locked while driving such as responding to text messages and some of the other navigation features that are traditionally locked. However you cannot get the 360 degree camera to work while driving.
Video in motion is also possible via simple OBD2 (diagnostics socket) plug

Is this still available? I'm interested and looks like others are as well. I have a W205 2016 C63S AMG. I would like to keep my push button start to have this. If it doesn't work without the push button not interested.
Is there any way to still get the discount for VIM?
I realize this is a very old thread, but I am interested in making my car able to play VIM, and being able to use my Navigation and Command while I drive, and I just noticed that there is a way to do this, I have a 2011 GLK 350 and I would like to unlock the system so is there anyway to still get the software at the discount rate through MBWorld? Please help....

For owners out there who's interested in enabling the TV/Video in motion for their Mercedes/AMG, I'd like to recommend Bimmerguru.com/Benz.
They currently have a special on at the moment for $179 USD and I couldn't be happier with it. My passengers can now watch TV or movies whilst the car is driving. And what's surprising is that the digital TV hardly ever loses reception when driving
It sounds expensive for "enabling" a feature but it's a small price to pay, especially for the service and support by Bimmerguru/Alex. He even went the extra mile by personally helping me choose the exact Sandisk USB for the install (I'm a bit of a stress-head with these sort of things). He was there whenever I needed something or had a question.
