Punjabi: You are not alone in this position. You still need to contact them and let them know you are waiting on your VIN so they can honor the discount and remove the code from their system. All you need to do is email them and tell them your situation, thats all.

A45, Amarok, C63s Edition 1 wagon.
Does this mod allow the 360 degree camera to be used in motion? I'd like to be able to turn the camera on at higher speeds than the software currently allows.

In that case I will email them tomorrow.

Also, I just loaded mine and when it restarted the COMAND system, all of the electronics in my car were "stuck" meaning I couldn't change Dynamic mode, etc. Scared the ***** out of me. So turned off car and turned back on and everything was working fine again...thanks goodness!

I spoke to DVD In Motion about 360 camera "not working" - they said:
"The camera image is controlled by its own control unit. We've tried to unlock this too, but the camera unit shuts down after a certain distance is driven and we can't change that. For this reason our software doesn't change the camera behavior at all."

Ok so I have a rather interesting question. As some of you know, I took delivery of my C63S this past week, April 2016 build date. I also ordered DVD in motion PRIOR to taking delivery of my car and just obtained the files from them several days ago after providing them my VIN. I have YET to even click on the link to download them, so obviously I have NOT installed it yet in my car. However, I have noted that on my April 2016 build I AM ABLE to enter destinations while driving. Is it possible that MB made a change? What is the point then of installing DVD in motion if this is the case (and I do not plan to watch DVD's in the car)?

I didn't read it, it is from my personal experience. My understanding is that in the W205 one is unable to manually enter an address or use a lot of the navi search functions while driving correct? Hence why I ordered DVD in Motion. However, if you read my post carefully, I have been able to enter addresses and search for POIs while driving my new C63S and I have not even installed DVD in Motion yet. It was a surprise to me, hence why I am wondering if perhaps MB changed the software on new builds or if I am just missing something? On a side note, on every Audi and BMW I have owned one can use all the nav functions while driving from the factory, so perhaps MB is following suit?

Interesting - I never tried to enter an address while driving before installing DVD In Motion so can't comment on whether my January build was enabled too. I installed to be able to watch DVDs (or really to allow my kids to watch) while driving.
In relation to entering addresses for the navigation system, the best way to do so is via the MB Companion app on your iPhone. It is very slick. You just have to be connected via Bluetooth to your car. You search in app for where you want to go - then simply click a button in the app to send it to your navigation system instantly. The Companion app also provides information on your odometer reading, next service, current tire pressure levels, and current gas level. The Companion app is available for all 2016 C class cars manufactured October 2, 2015 and beyond. I had no clue it existed until my salesperson shared it with me when I took delivery.
Here's some info on it:

Can you safely make a video showing us how you are entering an address while the car moving?

Why do you need a video? I tried again today since I was out of town. I can both enter addresses and search for POIs while the car is in motion. Again, DVD in Motion has not been installed yet on my April production C63S. Perhaps I will email DVD in motion and ask them about the matter.

Curious what others are experiencing - when I play a DVD I have to turn the volume up extremely high to hear it. A good listening level for the radio is barely discernible when playing a DVD.

Hmm... that is weird - radio and DVD and other sources are pretty much at the same volume for me.

Jeremy, I have the same anomaly. The sound when playing DVD's is significantly lower than radio. Maybe there is a setting we missed? I will email an inquire.

Response from DVD in Motion:
Thank you for contacting me. This issue actually seems to be disc dependant and it happens only on DTS or Dolby Digital 5.1 discs. Unfortunately this is really more like a property of the system itself and we can't do much about it. When you play a stereo DVD or listen to radio the volume level is normal. But when you play a DVD with DTS or DolbyDigital sound, it is often much quieter.
Most of the DVD discs should allow you to switch to stereo sound in the disc menu and then the volume level should be normal. This is more like a workaround, it isn't perfect solution but it usually helps.

I used the navi today while driving to work. I used the function where you draw the letters for address input while in motion. I'm in the us.

I got the camera to stay on once (although I have not tried since) and that was enabling full screen video before putting the car in reverse, then D and the camera stayed on until I clicked return. However, it seemed that the camera tried to shut off, but came back on immediately every few seconds as I was driving. Could also just be a one-time glitch.
