The only power buy I was authorized to make was for the C63S. If you would like to arrange a power buy for the E series, I can put you in contact with the CEO. They ask for a minimum of 10 patches and close it after 1 week. No public posting of power buy pricing, only via PM.

So, if someone else wishes to contact them regarding a power buy for another model, feel free to organize one and email them at info@dvdinmotion.com
Let them know you are from the MB World Forum and would like to offer a power buy for "E" Models, for example.
As far as getting your car in the future, I know that the company did allow a couple of members to buy the patch now in order to lock in the price and will provide the patch when you get the VIN.
So, I am going to add these last 2 names to the power buy so we can get it going.

2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 4Matic
Hi, I'm new here, I bought a 2015 GLK350 4Matic a few months ago and recently signed up for MBrace w/apps. Will this unlock the entire Comand system? Specifically I want to know about the Globe Icon on the in-dash screen, with MBrace some MB Apps, Internet favorites, Yelp searches, etc., are disabled while in motion. I am less concerned with the DVD and NAV, but having these functions of MBrace locked out while driving makes it very inconvenient. Also, not sure about what a group buy really is but if it works to unlock MB Apps on Mbrace then I would be interested in learning more. Thanks.

Melmmortal1: I am really unfamiliar with Mbrace and exactly what the unlock does. I was told that anything in the system that is locked while driving will be unlocked with the patch. I hope someone else can chime in. I am pretty sure I tried using the globe on the NAV and it worked but, let someone else comment on this as I am clueless.

The power buy doesnt change the patch, you just get to buy it for less money because a large number of people commit to buying the same patch at the same time..

Spoke with DVD in Motion and they agreed to a substantial discount. They asked me not to post the price publicly and I hope those of you who are part of the power buy respect their wishes. Anyone interested in purchasing or knowing what they are charging can inquire and respond via PM only please.
So, if you are serious and ready to go please PM me and I will give you a specific code to contact them with to get the discount. You will need to provide them with you VIN number at some point so they can make the program for your vehicle so, have that ready
I will not be handling any payments, they will all go through DVD in Motion directly.

After being annoyed daily about having to pull over in order to enter a new address on my NAV system, I decided to look into solutions. The Only one I could find that seemed the easiest was a firmware patch or software install that re-wrote what restrictions were in place for my car/country. I found DVD In Motion.
After about half a dozen emails with the company asking all sorts of questions, I decided to take the plunge and just buy it. They accepted Paypal, had a legitimate enough looking website and they responded almost instantly to my questions so, I was comfortable enough to send my money to Prague.
Some of the questions I asked that you may be interested in..
How does it install?

Is it reversible?
Yes, By repeating the installation steps you are turning the feature on and off again.
How much does it cost?
Well, they are a cool company and are willing to do a group buy if any of you or many of you want to buy it. They ask $199 for the patch but, I am sure we can get that way down with a group buy of 10 or more.
What does it do?
It allows you to enter any destination on the NAV while driving.
It allows you to watch any DVD while driving. Most useful for a passenger.
It allows you to use the web feature of the NAV while driving.
I haven't tried the other features but, plan on putting a DVD in and uploading another video to show how it works and that it does in fact work.

Guys, I was contacted by the DVD in Motion guys and 5 of the last 10 guys I sent codes to did not contact them. Please contact me and let me know you are no longer interested so that I may cancel the codes or give them to someone else please. Be courteous..

I have the code and have not used it because it appears they need a VIN number. My car is scheduled to be produced on April 7 and I do not have a VIN for it currently. If I can still use the code after then I will use it as soon as the car gets here.
