I have it back now but without fixes done. Goes back in on Monday next week. The tech they want to go on it isn't available until then and it seemed pointless just leaving it there. The seat, if it needs one, will take a long time to arrive - special order with it being an edition 1. I'll just have to turn up the volume in the meantime

First time I've driven the car in poor road conditions this morning - snowing but not settled on the roads, very wet and cold. For a rear wheel drive 500bhp coupe I was very impressed with the way it behaved in comfort mode. Traction was surprisingly good. It felt far, far better than the F10 M5 in similar conditions.

Here's a pic of my M5 stuck! (it was sat there for a week!):

Whilst I've driven a car with winter tyres I've never put any on a car I've owned so it is hard to comment. I couldn't get my M5 up a hill to get home in thick snow and had to get a tow. I suspect winter tyres would have fixed that problem. I doubt the C63 will far much better in that situation but my impression in cold, wet conditions - so far - is good

And have always bought them to go on in winter on my wife's and my BMW as she got stranded on M25 in snow one year for 24 hours until snow started to clear not a happy bunny.

weather has been absolutely horrible around here the past few days, constantly cold and wet roads yet the car has held it own superbly. Only lit up the traction light yesterday at corner turn (didn't hammer the throttle or anything) but even then the rear end was kept in line.
Very confident with the car in poor conditions. However, I'd think that heavy, settled snow will start causing some issues

I've also noticed it seems very neutral when traction is lost in poor conditions. The car handles really well and so did the one I drove on the driver training.
I've heard back about the AMG Driver's package. I'm being told that you get a voucher which you can redeem against one or more "events" in a catalogue. Some of these events apparently take place in the UK. I'll update this thread when I know more.

Dropped the car off tonight for them to have a good go at the problems - creaky driver's seat (may have to be replaced in the end), seat belt extension area rattle and the bloody iPhone problem. The iPhone (6S+) is a puzzle. I made a whole thread about that but no-one else seems to have the problem - when I make the first call after the car has been left for awhile the sound of the ring and speech is quite low in volume but mainly low in tone and/or slowed down. If I hang up and make the call again... all OK. It could be my phone but it works absolutely fine in every other car I've tried it in.

Oh and another issue that the techs couldn't figure out has led to my car needing a new exhaust as well (also being done on Friday)

For me - Day 4 tomorrow. No news either but I was warned that it will take time so I'm being patient. Hoping they can fix the seat without replacement because I suspect an Edition 1 seat will be quite a wait.

The squeaks and rattles for me are coming from the right side of the dashboard; near the a-pillar. Very irritating as I can hear it over the car's sound and even loud music.
I'm as surprised about the exhaust as you Sanch! Basically, under medium-heavy acceleration with the perf. exhaust on, there's been a high-pitched rattle which last for a few seconds or until a gear change.
Service thought one of the exhaust flaps was loose (or the motors controlling them), but after replacing those on Monday, the noise was still there so...new exhaust it is then!

the issue is that one year into the car and I'm still getting new sounds one week its the near the center magnetic sensor that's fixed above the rear seats, then its something in the driver's door panel and then its the center console and the list goes on

Went to pick it up today. Creaking/ticking/rattling seat exactly as before although there is now a piece of trim on the back sticking out. Left car with them again. They are saying it is probably new seat time. Apparently they asked AMG for some parts for the seat but they said they couldn't supply parts, just the entire seat which would take a considerable length of time. I would guess the trim is sticking out because they have tried to put some sound deadening tape behind it.
Obviously I'm not very happy.
