Couple of questions about the tune.
How is it "installed"? Can it be switched back and forth to stock and can the dealer see what's been done for warranty purposes?

Awesome I will take you up on that offer, I haven't even been in one that was broken in and could go over 4k rpms! you're only 15 minutes from my house. Will make the wait until November even worse.

The tune is installed by removing the ecu and opening it up to get to the "boot pin."
It CAN be switched back and forth between tune and stock but the ecu has to be pulled every time, the dealer will not know.

Not true. We have done quite a few of these and can remove the ECU without removing any parts off the car.
We will provide a free tune to any customer that we have to remove a bumper, fan, or any parts from their car (other than the lower tray).

As far as dropping the transmission, that would be the factory instructions for removing the downpipes. We have written our own instructions for that as well with pictures to where one simple cut on each side will allow to remove the OEM downpipes without dropping the trans.

I am interested in perhaps getting this done as I live in DFW. Do you guys ever come up to the DFW area? Or would I need to bring the car to Houston? What happens when I take it to the dealership for routine service? I'm assuming it will be easily detected when plugged into the dealer's computer?

When taking in for routine service, you can request for them not to update your software (which will flash over our tune). If it is for warranty work, I would recommend shipping the ecu back here for reflashing back to stock before going into the dealer.
Thanks

You could stop by one of our dealers for the ecu removal (Autoscope on Denton Dr or Baileys Hyperformance), they can overnight the ecu to us, I will get the tune done same day and overnight back.

Its hard to quote for another shop (hourly rates are different from state to state). Total for removal and reinstall probably 3hrs times hourly labor rate. Plus shipping costs.

Sweet! Make sure to call before you stop by one day to make sure the car is here at the shop that day. Yes, it will get you excited hoping November comes more FAST

Sorry! If you do find a shop to remove the ecu and send it out to us, let us know and I'll make sure to have it done for you in a timely fashion.
No EC Dealers but I'm sure you can find a reputable shop able to do the work
