Lowering my C63
Buddies! hey there.
Just wanted to ask you guys, what would you suggest to install if I want to lower my C63 to give it a better stance.
Springs or coil overs or what exactly? And if so, what brand would you pick? I'm a bit confused, many pics around, and each one looks just as good ...
inputs please?

KW adjustable springs, keeps the functionality of the suspension modes and you can dial the stance to exactly what you want. I have them currently on order will be installed in the car Aug 10th. I can send upload photos then. Hard item to find as it's only on the German KW site right now.

I've talked to two KW dealers, showed them that exact link and they both tell me that they don't work and that they don't have any height adjustable springs for our vehicles yet! WTF. Would love to see them installed, there is another member in Australia who said he had them installed?

but weird, cuz I talked to the dealer over here and he said I can order the springs for the W205 c63, they fit. I'm not talking about the v3's, just the adjustable springs, assuming same as the ones attached above.

Really interested in this too... based in Brisbane, Australia. Local dealer said nothing on their system.
Eagerly awaiting your install Hoping it all goes well.
Cheers,

the dealer of Weistec over here told me that the Weistec might create some sound when you ride a speed hump or if the road is a bit rough. He recommended the KW Springs, the same ones LFM_Vancouver has on order.
I'm waiting for him to install them and tell us more about them (appearance, ride quality etc..)

Ride quality is fine. I don't remember too much about my stock ride but I do know it wasn't made worse for adding the new suspension. Road still feels good. I've driven through bumpy roads just be careful going over bumps or you'll hit the bottom of the car. Gotta take bumps real slow. Plenty of clearance in the back. I'm always driving in Sports + so I'm use to the stiff suspension.

Nice! I like the stance, looks good! But what about the cambers, didnt get you on that.
+ did you hear anything about it affecting the shocks over a long period? My friend is good with these things and he told me springs alone will hurt the shocks over the long period, so he made me think twice... ughh
Any thoughts guys?

Which "springs" did you get? The KW height adjustable suspension (not KWV3)? Or are they just springs, i.e. H&R, Eibach, etc? How is the ride quality compared to stock?

The ones I posted earlier in this thread, only available from KW Germany right now. Ride is stiffer than stock but still WELL within what I would call comfortable.....considering it is an AMG..

So you say dont go for the springs alone and pull the trigger for the V3s? Only problem is that i wont be tracking my car so the guy over here told me if not gonna track then the V3 might be too much.. ? Lost here...

I've had V3's on all my cars so far, overkill if you ask me, these adjustable springs are a great option. Plus I never keep my cars long enough to worry about suspension wearing out.....
