Only $97.00! I have read some other posts where it was $180 to $300 for the service. Was I mischarged?

Morrisons is in Australia? You might want to let them know that other dealerships are doing it for free

Mine was free. Bought my car from Keyes Van Nuys, CA. I think they charge 299.00 or something but when I was working out the terms on my car I said I didn't want to pay for diff and I wanted a free set of brake pads when they needed to be changed. Had free brakes and rotors at 8K miles. I said those are my terms or I leaving to go to Rusnak BMW to buy an M3 that I had custom ordered and was sitting at the dealership which was true. Wasn't trying to be BS them or anything.

So that was negotiated within your deal.

I was wondering if anyone else in the US was able to get it done for free by referencing the service bulletin Anyroo mentioned in this thread

Yes I negotiated that in before I signed anything. I have the most power when I'm sitting there, pen in hand about to sign and start asking for things to be thrown in. If I'm buying a car for $80K + I want some things for free!

Mercedes Benz in Robina (Gold Coast area). When I was enquiring about buying the car I was asking about running costs and servicing, they told me the diff oil change is complimentary.

Also if you are a medic then you get free servicing as well

Interesting that you had to pay for it. I got a letter today reminding me to do it for my coupe once it reaches 2k and it's going to be free. At least it was pretty cheap for you.
