A little more info from this article stating significant updates to the mid life update C Class.
What's interesting here is the mention of twin scroll turbos for the C63 variant, this is about the fourth source I've read that have stated this and if that's what is actually going to eventuate there's no doubt it'll be the same units and manifold assemblies used on the E63's engine with a lower state of tune.
Final spec and info on the updated C63 should be out in the next 1-2 months or earlier

If MB wants to pull more potential buyers away from the new RS5 they've got to address/dial back the ride especially in comfort mode.
If Alfa can come out of the gate with a car that is dynamically excellent AND have a great ride quality then I don't see why MB can't do the same. Fingers crossed they do something about the ride quality because that will be a deciding factor for me.
We are very likely to get the stats for the facelift C63,
and the car itself in Saloon/Sedan/Estate versions this Tuesday.
I would be shocked if they made changes to the turbos, I think they may do a power bump similar to the AMG GT and GTS. Making the Michelin PS4 the standard tire for the 63 would improve the performance.

Agreed, I highly doubt there will be any significant changes to the engine other than ECU programming. Twin-scroll turbos from the E63S are even larger and more efficient than the single scroll turbos in the king of the hill GTR. In terms of drivetrain updates, I’m sure we’ll be looking at a small power bump (515 HP, to match the 18+ GTS) and the new 9-speed trans. Suspension updates would be great too, I’m sure we’ll see some minor tweaks there for fine tuning.
I think if MB were to swap to a twin-scroll setup (or even just single scroll with larger compressor wheels, ala GTR), it would be for a Black Series edition or C63R towards the end of the W205 lifecycle.
When I went to get my 1875 mile service done, they had this E43 on their showroom floor. I don't know if this qualifies as a facelift. To me, it looked like a C43 with upgrades - different style seats, the big flat screen with dual displays like in the E63S AMG.
^ They gave it the same grille as 63 AMGs LOL. Now all the 43 guys can delete their badges and drive around like its a 63.
This is all part of the future design language plan, all top end AMG variants will go panamericana style grille from here on - until AMG decide to change their mind again lol.
Don't worry, rear end between the 2 is still different and now certainly the better for it for the new C43.
Not as much to worry about with the coupe though (for now) as it is an obvious overall difference from 63 to anything else
IMO the way they're going it looks more and more certain that all future AMG models are going to look even more alike.
Meh not for me. I like my ‘18 C63S just how it is. No regrets. It looks just like the new E43..those are some very subtle changes in my opinion. The exhaust tips looks cool, i’d go for something like that in aftermarket for the c63..

This refresh has the option for digital gauges, however, I believe analog gauges will come standard. As far as the double screen configuration currently in the new E, S, and now A-Class, we won't see that until the next generation W206.
I prefer analog over digital gauges as well... give me a Rolex over an Apple Watch any day. There's just something beautiful about watching a physical needle sweep through a well designed gauge.
And since this LCI has such subtle exterior changes (I don't even think the taillights on the Coupe were updated at all, I can't spot any differences), things like the new Panamericana grill should be able to be swapped on a pre-LCI. I think that grill looks badass, so I wouldn't mind swapping one on mine!
Prefer the pre-facelift headlights but I do like the larger centre screen (still too much bezel though). Also they could've updated the rear lights, the OLEDs on the S Coupe facelift (and even the M4 CS) look pretty damn cool.
Not sure about the digital gauges. They have that 'cool factor' and I'm glad they retained the traditional looking cluster rather than the flat panel (it makes it look more sporty in a way) but there's just something special about the current carbon-styled analog gauges.
Interested to see how the panamericana grill looks when we see the C63 face-lift, probably the same as the GLC63, which is no bad thing imo.

I literally can’t tell the difference with the new Coupe taillights, and I’m a stickler for details. I’m actually surprised they didn’t make a bigger change like they did with the taillight LED graphics on the LCI Sedan tails.
Either way, I’m selfishly kinda glad the changes aren’t too significant. I’m sure the C63S will have larger quad trapezoidal exhaust tips (see the new AMG GT 4 door), a new front bumper similar to the large A-wing style of the E63 with the panamericana grill... and would bet on suspension updates. From a driveability standpoint, that will likely be the biggest difference from the pre-LCI C63S. I think the power bump will be hardly noticeable, using the same size turbos as before, since the latest AMG GTS went to 515 HP without any turbo changes (just software).
