I feel like they're holding back on the changes for this face lift in terms of performance. Maybe because there's going to be a c63R or black series. Not worth trading in the current c63 for this new one imo. I'd wait for the c63 R
Id be sad if i got a 2018 in the last few months... this 2019 is a sweet upgrade.
Meh, I bought mine last month and have no regrets. I knew pretty much everything coming in the facelift when I bought my car. Everything that is really important to me will remain virtually unchanged in the new version (plus, I wasn't willing to wait 9+ months). Maybe I'll upgrade next year, but I'll happily live with my consolation prize in the meantime...

Yes, there is a C63 R coming. Tons of articles out there...
Snagged some gorgeous pics of the matte black 2019 C 63 S at the NY auto show using the capture button on the video tool and using the "car" view (3 views to choose from during playback). Really cool video tech for a simple announcement -- thank you Mercedes!
Personally, I believe Mercedes has done a wonderful job with this facelift its a nice mid cycle refresh the new tailpipes look really cool as they dont seem to be a "dummy" anymore. The grille is awesome although I still like the old grille both look aggressive, cannot wait to see the new one on some KW HAS... oh and that 9g transmission Imagine the power it can handle !

Very Nice !!! I'm really loving this upgrade both exterior and interior new aesthetics, the new grille and lower rear end looks way better than I expected it to be
From all that's been released/published so far the big winner here seems to be the non S variant as it's steeped up and received a lot which was previously exclusive to the S.
BTW there's one frontal pic there above which seems to be off another model, maybe E or GT 4 door as it shows a 4 matic + logo and trimming on the front fender ??
There's no official word yet on an R variant, but if that happens it would be awesome and definitely the pic of the bunch of this 205 series
Looks good! I don't think this car needed more power so I'm not upset about the same power ratings being carried over. Car and Driver mentioned AMG "elaborately" retuned the suspension so that's what I'm really looking forward to.
Next 1-2 years will be a tough choice between this and a lightly used E63.
It also has a retuned exhaust. Sounds a bit higher pitched than before. Sounds really cool.
I don’t think that’s correct... I think it’s implied that the exhaust has been updated visually with the larger trapezoidal tips, not an actual change to the exhaust.

Really? If you listen to the intro video it sounds really really different. And I think I read somewhere it comes with three new exhaust profiles.
the exhaust sound a bit more racier in this video. They definitely change something. I remember reading about how they re-engineer the exhaust sound. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCVeIoxBqQE
Fairly certain they would make mention of that in their PR. Can you find the quote/article that says that? As far as I can see, the performance and standard exhaust are unchanged mechanically.

I couldn't find the article but I found a video on all the changes including re-engineer exhaust. skip to @1:03
Agree with you Trim, I think the Pana grille can be retrofitted as it seems the didn't even bother to change the bumper. Very poor facelift for their bestseller.
Agreed Uga, I'd wait for the R/Black Series or even the W206. I'm still baffled as to why the C43 facelift got the new lower front apron similar to the style that all current AMG's have, while the C63 didn't. I mean if you look at the GLC63, the panamericana grille works because it has the GTR inspired lower front vents and apron...I think some of the decision makers over at AMG need a little reality check.
That’s not an official MB video, that’s AutoTopNL. English isn’t their first language (Dutch is)... the “re-engineered” exhaust is referring to the new styling of the tips. It’s just a poor translation on their part.
New exterior color, called Magno Graphite Grey. I believe this color was available on the AMG GTC 50 edition last year.
There is one new interior option that has yellow highlighting on the seats and the stitching, somewhat similar to the ED1 C63 when it first came out. There are also a few new open poor wood trim options, but I haven’t seen any pics of them.
Prices for the cheapest model in the four-strong line-up, the saloon, start from £64,000, an increase of £3500 over the outgoing model though, Mercedes says, with significantly more equipment. The C63 S saloon costs £73,000, a rise of £5700 over its predecessor. The most expensive model in the new C63 range is the C63 S Cabriolet, which is priced from £79,000. First deliveries are scheduled for October.
