Prices for the cheapest model in the four-strong line-up, the saloon, start from £64,000, an increase of £3500 over the outgoing model though, Mercedes says, with significantly more equipment. The C63 S saloon costs £73,000, a rise of £5700 over its predecessor. The most expensive model in the new C63 range is the C63 S Cabriolet, which is priced from £79,000. First deliveries are scheduled for October.

I think most of, if not all c63s models upgraded to the premium package in the UK. So perhaps they are including those options as standard.
9 speed plus digital dash and a few tweaks should not add up to £6k.

Another good C 63 S video from the NY auto show...
And he confirms the color is indeed “Graphite Gray Magno” (reads it off the key at 13:58) — somebody tell Tobias it’s not matte black.
I’ve seen this guy’s videos before... super detailed reviews in hi def, with some dry humor in a German accent - informative and entertaining. And sort of reminds me of Gabe from The Office.

Does this mean they addressed the harsh ride? if so this is big news.

Based on the discussed changes I am still overall excited about the updates and think there is a lot more that is good than is bad. In fact, the only thing I am less than thrilled about is the new front grille (which looks awkward with some colors). If there are issues with the 9 speed I am sure MB can get them sorted out in due course similar to the way that the 7 speed improved over time. As long as the hardware is solid then the rest can be addressed via software tuning.
