During my last service, I change tires on new set of PSS.
Asphalt temperature is around 2-5C at this moment in Poland.
When I left service I felt a lot of grip - very nice feeling.
Then I beat a tire and then tire pressure monitoring system shows (cold tires) 200kPa front, and 195kPa rear. It was the pressure, that MB AMG service set during my last tire change.
Tire service fixt the problem with front right tire, and they put more pressure to the all 4 wheels - approx. 240kPa.
I lost a grip totally. I feel like on ice. Before I will start to play with pressure, does anyone tried low pressure on low temperature asphalt?

Zomg....just picked up from dealer, had taken in to have tpms issue fixed. Pressure was like 50-54. That’s above max rec pressure on the tires...wtf Mercedes.

Granted I usually run a few more lbs in my tires as I usually on 20s with a 20-30 sidewall but not that high. I’m still trying find sweet spot for this setup.

what you guys think? I’m thinking between 38-40. Maybe lower even, it is Phoenix and summer now. So will be hot, a lot.
They did find 2 nails inside tread right rear, fml. I did want get some ps4s on there and maybe a 295-305 rear. Pzeros on now. Gonna get patched and light em up lil more than usual so can justify new tires much sooner hahah.

38-40 front and 35-37 rears are perfect IMO.

What is everyone referencing to and running in their new coupes??
that’s what my tire shop told me 2018 c63S

Jeez 49/52 is tooo much and 32 seems a tad low but acceptable. Rear should be lower too, not higher. Max is supposed to be 50 im pretty sure (depending on tire ofc) for tires our size. Pressure increases with heat too guys, not to mention thatd be hard as a rock and ride/handle like crap. Less pressure = softer ride and more traction, for the most part.
Even MB inflated me to over 50, which is crazy.

I lowered it to like 38/36, happy medium. Only reason have more pressure is for high speeds 150+ or higher load/weight or really terrible roads w/ potholes that your afraid denting a rim.

Check your pressures after driving a while from having at 49/52 and see how high they are, and tell me that doesnt seem too much. Also, try lowering them and see how much better it feels.

Lower tire pressure = cracked wheels. Warning.

WARNING: DO NOT USE 33 PSI FRONT AND 32 PSI REAR

Running stock PSS on 19/20 forged RXC wheels here and bent my front right forged wheel and cracked a spoke in the front left wheel after setting my tire pressures to 33 front/32 rear.

Cost me a fortune and 4 weeks without wheels until I was able to replace the front wheels so please do not lower your tire temperatures to under 35 psi on the fronts.

I'm now running 36 psi front and 34 psi rears. I won't go anywhere under that.

These "forged" wheels are prone to issues as you can see from posts on this site and your stock wheels will buckle on rough roads. I'm a very careful driver but once you hit a decent sized pothole they'll cave in.

Ridiculous.

Is it just a coincidence that the speed rating (limit) for the W205 C63 is 155mph and 180mph for the C63S? Maybe the same for the W204s. Has me wondering if the 0 - 155mph and the 0 - 180mph on the fuel door refers to the C63 and C63S, respectively... Sorry if this has already been observed and answered...

Hello.

Those speed limits depends on if you have the "AMG Drivers's Package" option that puts the limit at 180 instead of 155mph. I'm not sure if all C63S's have the AMG Driver's Package but I think it's an extra.
