No Back Up Camera
My custom ordered C63S was built with no back up camera. How a $90,000 car could possibly leave the factory like that is mind boggling. What a shame and a black eye on the AMG brand.

Are you kidding me? This is getting ridiculous. How can this be happening. I'm guessing a very small percentage of MB customers are on this forum. If you extrapolate the 5-10 instances of missing back-up camera and/or missing power-folding mirrors, this sounds like it could be a major issue impacting potentially hundreds of new cars. So far, I haven't heard back from MBUSA on my issue, and the dealer salesperson is doing everything he can to accommodate a retro-fit solution but after two weeks, still no solid plan forward and he's getting the runaround by MBUSA and apparently the AMG directly in Germany. MB needs to acknowledge and this issue to all impacted customers and dealers in their network, and have a comprehensive plan on how to address and communicate. Big black eye for MB!!!

WTCrazyF??? Is this BS still going on? After all this nonsense... I got to the level having dreams that my Coupe arrived as Cabrio.. My build date is 1.nov, gonna call today my dealer, if the car will be missing ANYTHING, im going to refuse delivery. MB doesnt have to even bother about sending it..

This is nuts how much this is happening! Since my car arrived 900 miles from me, I fortunately had a friend go check out the car today and validate that the camera was there (should be as it has the surround view option) and the mirrors do indeed power fold.

Whats funny is that even the Honda Fit (so virtually all Hondas) has a back up camera as standard 
In a few years, say 2020 and when you try sell the car... who the hell will buy a 2017 AMG without a back up cam

My build is supposed to be next week. I sure hope they have this sorted out. Though I've never been a huge fan of backup cameras, the poor rearward view in the coupe makes it a must. With backup cams no doubt soon to be mandated, I can see resale value taking a hit without one.

Same thing happened to me. I started a thread about it a few weeks ago. I have also found some other cars, including an other C63S sedan missing the camera on the lot.
Just so you know. It's NOT possible to add the factory camera at this point. Dealer will offer about $200 off, order a new car (which still might not have a camera), or install an aftermarket camera.

2017 C43 Coupe
My C43 coupe didn't have a backup camera. There was a $370 credit listed on the monroney label for the missing camera. Before I finalized the deal, I told them to throw in the camera. Dealer said no cuz it would cost $1000 to install the camera. I'm was bummed but still bought the car. Aside from that, I love everything else about the car.

Only a sample of one, but I took delivery of my coupe yesterday and I have yet to find anything missing. Well, the lest five years of updates to the infotainment interface are missing, but that was a design decision by MB. And CarPlay is missing from all C63s.
