My C63 S Edition 1 still not arrived
So bloody frustrated as my C63 S Edition 1 Coupe has still not materialised from Germany after five months since ordering.
The car was due in to be delivered in September but when the time came it was delayed till mid October when mid October came it was still in Germany.
Then was told it was on its was from factory end of October last week had reached Zeebrugge. Delivery date of 10th October was given when it left Germany but when I checked with dealer if the car would be in on 10th they tell me the tracking shows is has not moved since Friday at Zeebrugge.
What the F**** which I had bought the M4 competition pack now would have had the car months ago.
Just hope it turns up before December or might as well put off receiving till January to get it registered in 2017 in stead of 2016.
Just hope its worth the wait after all this time just as well I did not let my 6 series go before I seen the C63 S or would have been car less for months.
How come MB can't get there act together and get these car to customers before they are so **** off with the constant delays they go somewhere else and by other premium vehicles. I am sure it does nothing for customer relations before you have even sat in your new car.
Anyway rant over just to say all you luck guys and girls who have been lucky to receive your awesome C63 and C63 S enjoy and give a thought for the many of us who are still waiting for that call from the dealer to say "your car is in"

I'm sure you will know I experienced similar problems with mine to the point where I cancelled. I hope it arrives with you soon Michael. If it's in Zeebrugge it must be just surely be just waiting for a ship.
Whilst the M4 comp pack is a great car I would not have one over the C63s, not a chance, despite a large saving and all the delays (and a currently creaky driver's seat!).
I've had a similar experience albeit the delay wasn't too bad and I now have the car. Order placed 31 July and arrival at dealer promised for 22 Sept, fully speccable. Seemed a bit too quick to be true! Soon after ordering, the car slipped by a month and finally arrived at the dealer 28 Oct. I had to take a business trip to the US the following week so the car was collected 4 Nov.
Mine's a C63 S Edition 1 Coupe too and I'm delighted with it. The sound in particular is fantastic and unbelievable for a turbocharged car. Hope yours arrives soon!
You're not alone. I ordered a C43 sedan in June, and it's still not here. The delivery ETA when I ordered was early September, and the car was actually completed in mid-August.
It's been sitting in some warehouse for 3 months in the US, for reasons that are still not clear to me.
The model was released in Canada over a month ago, and to most of the US two weeks ago. People who ordered months after me are getting their cars before me -- it's absolutely infuriating.
I just about lost it when my sales guy told me "it will be here any day now!" near the end of October and revised his estimate to the middle of November.
Yes, you should have gotten the M4 as an interim. I should have gotten the M3 while waiting for my sedan. They said I will receive mine around mid-Oct (pre-sale), still waiting. Now its estimated after mid Nov. I feel your pain bro.

Many of us owners here know the feeling Michael, but if I could wait 10 (painful) months, you can hang in there too! Hopefully it will finally turn up soon.
It will be worth the hassle and wait, trust me. It's a good thing you didn't opt for the M4 comp pack. Can guarantee you'll be better off and having a lot more fun with the C63

I think it depends on where you live in Canada. They are waiting for a full load of cars to your area. I bought a limited ACR Viper, and was told I would get it in 2 weeks. 9 months later it turned up. With every excuse under the sun. Hoping Mercedes are true to there word. I guess we will see. Mid February for me.

It's Diamond White. I took the decals off as it seemed there was a lot going on against the white with all the gloss black and carbon from the front, rear and side pieces without throwing in the decals as well.
I prefer ceramics and have them on some other stuff, first impressions are that they are very strong albeit the rears are steel. Went to Merc World on Sunday for breakfast to put a few miles on, and took a few more pics but light not so great... And the mirrors do fold

I've not had HUD on anything before and its cool, very bright and clear and the display content, height and brightness can all be configured. The 360 is good too, my garage space is tight and the top down view is very good.

Thanks Pete for info, I have 360 and HUD on my 640D and would not now buy a car with out them. On the BM the HUD is in full colour also give other info like warning messages.

I may have to errr... "borrow" your HUD for testing purposes.
I'm managing without one and don't really miss it at all until I drive a car with one... just like the one I used for the driving experience for example. I turned it off because it was annoying me with its presence!

To each his own but after having this car with the HUD I would never buy again without it. I just love it as it is in your field of vision and you do not have to look down and have your eyes refocus and adjust for the light condition.

Yes I was joking. I would have much preferred having a HUD but just couldn't get one no matter which dealer I went to. I have had HUDs in the past and would always choose to have one but my 911 doesn't have one (Porsche don't do HUDs) so switching between the two is noticeably easier. I found it difficult to get used to looking down at the speedo after having cars with HUDs for a few years. It is a bit of a skill it seems.
