I thought I would post a step by step guide to installing a set of Mode Carbon Mirror Caps.
Standard mirror Standard mirror housing Use controls to turn mirrors all the way in towards the car and facing down Squeeze fingers behind the mirror getting a good firm grip Carefully pull the mirror out until it unclips Firmly grip the mirror pulling rewards to fully unclip from the electric motor Unclipped - position mirror glass so it does not scratch the paint Be careful that your mirrors don't self close at this point and break your mirror glass or scratch your paint Locate securing tabs and use flat head screw driver to unclip - Tab One Tab two Tab three Push the mirror housing rewards unclipping from the main mirror Remove housing Locate two security screws securing the Led light Remove the screws Tools used Unclip the tab on the end of the led light Push the led light inwards and remove fully placing into new carbon housing. Clip and secure with the two screws. Slide carbon fibre mirror housing onto the mirrors ensuring the three clips are secure Push mirror glass back into position and reposition
