FI? Probably one of the best manufacturers sold on here in my opinion. I had their exhaust installed on my C63 before I sold it for my GTS. Check out their site:

fi-exhaust.com

I can also vouch for Golan and AutoTalent. My go to for all my mods.

1) Am I correct in seeing that these are 2-piece?

2) If so, does that mean they can be installed without dropping the transmission?

Thanks!

They are 2 pieces, yes. You can cut and weld these new ones in but we have not done that yet. We have dropped the transmission for all of our customers.

Oh so you still can't get the top part of the DP (with the primary cat) out without dropping the trans. But you can use the 2nd part for a "plug 'n play" replacement for the secondary cat? If so, can the 2nd pipe be sold separately?

Removing the stock downpipes unfortunately means dropping the transmission or cutting the downpipes in half to remove without dropping the trans.

Both the secondary and primary cats are on the downpipes, so even using the bottom half of these downpipes for the secondary cat delete will require cutting and welding. An exhaust shop would be much cheaper... unless a vendor decides to start selling a secondary cat delete pipe, though you'll still need cutting and welding.
