Rattly pasanger seat belt
Has anyone found the magnet on the UK performance seats in the coupe yet to stop the seat belt buckle banging on seat hard shell, as I can not seem to locate it what so ever on my Edition 1 seat????

Found it although you have to put the seat right back as fare as it goes or put the seat back reclined other wise it does not say there ?

I didn't have an issue this AM on highway with top down but tonight after dropping off a buddy I started to hear the banging of belt.. Have to try the magnet tomorrow OR find a clip because ITS ANNOYING!

my OCD won't allow me to just fasten it in with nobody in it…
There needs to be a solution for this as it happened again today with top down, which is typically how i'm cruising around. And BTW the magnet doesn't work for S**T

I agree does want to stay there when driving the seat belt tension is pulling it away from magnet all the time and when you hit a bump it comes off

I had the same issue on my saloon but Merc fixed it by fitting an addition buckle stopper (the plastic dot in the belt webbing) that now stops the buckle from hanging low enough to rattle on the seat.
It works in the saloon but looking at the heights in the coupe it may not be possible.

UPDATE: Took my car to local dealer today for inspection of passenger seat belt knocking… they told me there is no magnet, which I suspect is wrong due to other post on this form. They also indicated that they could tighten up the tension on the belt, but i'm not sure how much thats going to stop from slapping back & forth @ 80MPH with top down..

My OCD was the same way, sometimes this would happen in my Audi so I just fastened every seatbelt and somehow that was more paletable to my OCD.

I had the same problem with my coupe.
The magnet is just not strong enough to hold the belt with even moderately
spirited driving.
I just push the buckle right up to the top and it sits there without any rattles.
When I get home later I'll try to take a pic. Now you will have to do this everytime you have a passenger that leaves the car, as the buckle will naturally fall down. This isn't really an issue for me as 99% of the time it's just me in the car.
