I dont know of anyone on the coupe but I think its possible albeit not optimal on the 10.5 inch wheel. If lowered then it would be ok depending on the drop but without spacers. My car needs the slightly stretched OEM tire with the 18mm spacer.

I'm now running 295s with a 10mm spacer... no rubbing and looks great!

New wheels coming soon though.

I know what you're saying. The 285's look out of place on that wheel; the 295 is the way to go.

Where did you get 10mm spacers that fit??! Are they give centric??? Ecs had nada. I can't find anything....

305s would fit but like Vic said they need a stretch and will look bulky on a 10.5 wheel.

20mm front - 10mm rear

I had my old 12.5mm on there... it rubbing with the new tires.

The shop was able to machine them down by 2.5mm - No rubbing and looks sweet.

Audio - You've been on the hunt for these spacers forever lol...

I have new forged wheels coming in the next few weeks, if you want I can sell you my ones as I won't need them anymore. You can DM me if interested.

FYI my car with the 285s (Spacers and drop) - The stretch is ridiculous IMO looks incomplete, go 295s for anyone wanting to change in the future.

It will fit, however it will stick out quite a bit.

Vic is running 18mm, that is the widest I would go with.

Concur here- 20mm in the rear on a lowered coupe will push the wheel lip out too far and while the tire is slightly stretched it will look just a bit too outside.

Sanch how far did you drop your car? Im basically as low as I can go in the rear with about 1 1/4 inches left in the front = weird KW HAS

Vic, I'm about 18mm lower all around. This may change when I get my wheels.

I use it as my daily and any lower I would scrape the front getting in and out of driveways. I'd love your height!

Thanks, i am buying H&R spacers available here in Europe and they do not make 18 mm. So i take 20 mm and hopefully its ok. In worst case i can machine the 2 mm off.

Sanch I see you have Michelin's fitted to you C63 S are these standard tyres in Sydney as in UK my C63 S Edition 1 came with Continentals as standard. Do you find the Michelin grip well on damp/wet roads.

Ill answer from my perspective--- my car came equipped with the PSS tires and they are arguably the best overall performance tire out there when you have to blend dry and wet. A few tires have made some strides and are closing in but the PSS, for me, has been the best of the lot. There are tires that are better only in the wet and only in the dry but the PSS is the "all rounder" for cars at our level and beyond. I do have P Zero's on my M5 and Turbo S but thats because they were the OEM option in the states.

+1 VIC has nailed it - PSS are top notch in wet and dry conditions.

If you want to change I would recommend PSS. However, there is a new version (supposedly) much better. They will be rolled out on the new AMGs models including the W213 E63s. This will be worth the wait. I can't wait to try them.

Yes as a blend for sure as the SC2's are down right scary in the wet and I would not recommend driving a car equipped with them in that scenario. I had a 2015 GT3 with those tires; tremendous dry grip (better than PSS) but in the wet the car stayed garaged.

I stopped by a local Performance shop today to get some ideas today, and the owner recommended against getting spacers.

Has anyone experienced any side effects such as rattles, shimmy or rubbing?

You will hear a lot of noise about spacers based on bad and good experiences. I have found that the bad ones are due to misfitment and lack of a hubcentric connection. If you get a hubcentric spacer which binds the spacer to the factor snout you will be just fine. I have been using spacers for years on factory OEM wheels with zero issues as long as they are hubcentric in nature.

Hell, Porsche has an addendum on their 991's for a spacer add (I think 7mm) that comes on the car from the factory.

So currently on 3 of my rides (just dumped the M4) I have spacers with OEM wheels: M5, C63S, and my departed M4. I have had zero issues with vibrations, balancing, anomalies, rubbing (which is more of an issue of how low you go) or steering wheel concerns. I like to think I drive my cars hard, reaching triple digit speeds a lot and push the cars into turns and big bends. I don't baby my rides. What was the owner's reasoning? Did he want to sell you a set of wheels instead (and tires)?
