Issues regarding this were resolved with MBUSA and the Dealership in question. An agreement was reached and the video has been removed from the public listing.

Also this was the jerky gear shift problem that I believe my car has. This is taken from another user on this fourm who also had a similar issue to min and it was then fixed for him.

If they had been joy riding it, or if this was their second or third time trying to diagnose it and still couldn't fix anything, that would be a different story.
Not only is this video worthless, it does more harm than good to call out a dealership and posting a "hidden cam" video as evidence. Honestly, you seem like the kind of customer no one wants... and you'll quickly learn that how you treat your dealership reflects how they treat you. Good luck and hopefully you get your remaining issues fixed.

yea ok buddy. If you actually watch the video you can clearly see them saying things such as "this guy is out of his mind" "he's just upset that he spent so much on a c-class" "and so on. Actually watch the time stamps I mention before trying to call me out.

To be honest they took the car out and tested it which is more than a bad dealer would have done.
Yes, they comment on you a bit and dont seem to be doing much detecting, but what did you expect? These guys spend all day changing brakes and oil, they are not test drivers. It may have been worth suggesting going out with them to show them the problem.
I hope you have another dealer you can use though as what you have done with this video on a public forum could be interpreted as a lack of trust between you and the dealer and they have every right to not except your custom again at this specific dealer or the whole chain if there is one.
Remember that filming someone covertly without permission or displaying any warning they could be recorded is illegal in much of the world and even though these people were working on your car its still an invasion of their privacy. To that end I would consider taking the video down and just discussing this privately with your dealer.

The expectations when you take a car to the dealership is held to a higher standard. They are being paid to do their job, not ***** and complain. The problem lies in the fact that they did not give as much attention as they normally would have if an older individual were to have taken their car in. As opposed to a younger guy like myself.

I specifically asked them to take it out and even offered to go with them but they did not want to because it was almost time for them to close shop. Also to clarify, the guy white guy was supposedly an AMG specialist so no he doesn't just do brakes and change oil all the time. And there is no violation of privacy. They knew they were being recorded from the very beginning as he did notice the camera in the car.
Look guys bottom line line is that this is poor customer service and this kind of thing has been going on with this dealership for a while now. It has all been reported to MBUSA and they also agree that this was unacceptable. A complaint has been filed with the dealership. That's the end of it. Now your personal opinions about this matter are irrelevant I simply posted this as an announcement to everyone to be wary of what could be done about/to their cars when sent to the dealer.

Hopefully OP has an alternative dealership he can take is vehicle to in the future, as I'm sure this particular dealership wont want to service his vehicle going forward.
I do have to wonder though if MB or the dealership has the ability to flag this vehicle and customer in their computerized service management system for the illegal video taping of MB employees without their consent. I can't imagine too many other MB dealerships wanting to service this vehicle, if when they scan the VIN number on customer check-in they see a reference to this type of activity.
Anyway, I hope OP gets all the issues with his vehicle fixed to his satisfaction and finds an alternative shop in his area.

Yea I agree. In the USA I don't think there are any ramifications for filming your own personal vehicle but I will look into it further. I have contacted the service manager and am awaiting a response.

And it did not seem that they were interested in helping me either due to that fact that I am a 20 year old college student and therefore not the "typical" Mercedes buyer.

They replied your seat when they really shouldn't have. The noise is subjective. We do have c class cars. Most of us seem to forget that. The shifting isn't anything that can be fixed easily and if it isn't causing harm, they aren't going to go out of their way to fix it. Also stay out of first gear. The car doesn't like it.
And I don't know what state you are in but yes, most states it is illegal to film someone without knowledge.

I don't know if you've ever driven a manual car before but if you try to shift from 2nd to 1st, it doesn't work well in higher rpms. Automatic cars don't like it either. That's why your car shifts to 1st at very low rpms and low speeds when shifting on its own.
If you think age is a problem try taking whoever bought your car in with you to see if they treat them better. This is assuming at 20 and in school you didn't buy this car yourself. If you did, I don't need the life story argument back. Just a suggestion.

I was reading this thread and logged in so i could reply to explain what the purpose of 1st gear was... so maybe the OP can have a better experience with the car in manual mode. But, after seeing the OP's replies, it's probably not the right time yet.
if you become interested in the near future (or far, depending on how long it takes you to recover from this thread), start a new one with the title "when is 1st gear used?" I, and i'm sure a lot of other members here would be happy to help and enlighten.
