Passenger airbag gets totally crazy.

Man It literally drives me nuts.

My wife is always sitting on the passenger side and it shows that the passenger airbag gets switched on and off uncontrollably.

What is wrong with my car? How on earth can it switch passenger airbag off while my wife is sitting there?

Probably a fault with the sensor in the seat? Just take it to the dealer. You can film it the next time it happens.

That or your wife is too skinny.

Your car is obviously a lemon. Trade it in so you can stop posting one annoying thread after another. Sorry if I'm being harsh, but bring the damn car to the dealership and sort it out - posting on the forum won't fix it.

Not that uncommon with modern cars. Even my both my 2014 and 2015.5 range rovers both exhibited this. The 2015.5 supposedly had the sensor replaced and software updated but still happens. I asked if there was a way for dealer to just disconnect the stupid sensor so its always on, he said no because they are not allowed to do this. Supposedly it turns itself off if no one is seating there to cut down on insurance costs and get a better rating for the range rover.

All I have to ask is when do they think I wouldn't want the airbag inflating in an accident? Never.
Its just like the damn start stop features that are on by default and dont allow you to set a preference. Choices taken away from consumer because some policy works out better for manufacturer.

Good to know I'm not the only one having this problem. Man, I hated to go back to my dealer to fix problems after problems. They still haven't get back to me regarding no folding mirrors.

Not a "hater" as you have nothing to hate on - I'm just being real and pointing out that you post excessively here. It's clogging up the forum with junk threads and it's a bit obnoxious if I'm entirely honest.

This isn't really correct. This will explain it:

That's because you keep on telling her to lose weight, hahaha! Jk... anyways, that happened to my w211 back then. Just take it to the dealership.

Thanks for letting me know that my threads are not favored by everybody and I'm ok with that, because even the President has only 50% of support. I'm doing better than the President

Haha, she never gets into action to lose any weight, only adds on to her already chubby body.

I hate to take my car to the dealership. An OCD like myself hates to have anybody touch the car. I guess I'll just mention it on the next service.

Yea totally, and you seem to have a lot in common with our president-elect, especially the degrading of women and your own wife in particular.

I'm not mad at your replies. You probably misunderstood me due to cultural differences. I don't blame you. Please PM me if you could tell me the reasons you don't like to see my posts, I appreciate it. I'm not being sarcastic here, I just wanted to understand what viewers like and expect to see in a forum.
Thank you!

I understand you my friend..my wife doesn't fit in my car either.. I believe she wants me to get a larger car instead of her losing 150lbs.. I keep telling her to diet but she can't stop eating everything in sight..my girlfriend on the other hand fits perfectly..
