Has anyone had their 2017 C63s Coupe ECU tuned? I tried to have mine done and I was told by 2 reputable companies the ECU is locked on the C63 coupes and it is not able to be bench reprogrammed? I was just wondering if this is indeed the case?

Have you guys had your cars done? Renntech and Velos design told me the ECU in the 2017 C63s coupe is locked and cannot be bench flashed at this time.

Please let me know pricing and send me dyno chart with stats. I want to confirm that this tune will work on a 2017 C63S Coupe? The ECU is different than the sedan.

I assume this is an open ECU tune discussion thread but if not, my apologies for this post.

Anyway, I'm currently running the Rebellion piggyback and want to move to an ECU tune. I'm curious if anyone else has made the transition from a piggy to ECU tune and would provide comparison feedback. I've narrowed it down to PP from Autotalent and Eurocharged. I know of the management limitations from a piggy so just interested in butt or real dyno comparisons. I'd love to hear whether or not there is a big power and drivability difference. Thanks in advance.

I had the PP-Performance tune on my car. It does make the most power out of all the tunes I researched and they are also very reputable so that put my mind at ease. I only had stage 1 and put down almost 540 wheel hp on AutoTalent's dyno. I was at their shop last week and they have a C63S sedan running Stage 2 from PP, FI Exhaust, catless downpipes and getting a meth kit installed. I think that car should put down almost 600hp.
I must admit that I almost did Eurocharged but thought to myself if doing something I might as well pay a little more and run the best! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions on the tune.

Thanks Jay for the response. So with 12% drivetrain loss you're at ~604hp at the crank?

Maybe? I am not the most advanced person when it comes to calculations of power. It was always to my understanding that their is a 15% loss from crank to get wheel output. What are you leaning towards?

Does anyone know if any of these tuners have a tune for a 2017 C63s coupe. I sent mine to Velos and they were unable to flash the ECU as it is different from the sedan and they could not even get it to power up. Renntech does not have a flash for it either.

No they do not. its a long time out from what I have heard if ever unfortunately.

Im running the OE tune on my 17 C63S coupe. Its one of the best Benz tunes Ive had on a car. It really changes the dynamics of the car; from rolling runs and higher speed lane changes. The tq is so prevalent at lower rpms, the MCT just feels like a DCT now. I often forget its a planetary automatic compared to my other rides which are all DCT except for the 2012 C63BS. I did my tune with about 300 miles on the car and have not looked back.

OE has tuned all my Benzes (except the 2001 E55):
