Amazing how differently these cars lease than other manufacturers.

I'd keep looking. Not sure what the features are on this particular one but there are definitely a lot bigger discounts out there than 4700 bucks if you keep looking.

mine came with the standard rims, designo leather, performance exhaust, panrorama roof, driver assist package, reverse camera, multimedia package, lighting package, etc but i was able to get a discount of around 12%.

I'm just gonna throw this out there... SHOP AROUND.

Dealer has a 13% profit margin on most cars, AMG included.

High end dealers will sell at MSRP, without any markup (Mercedes doesn't technically allow a markup on an AMG).

If you find a lower volume Benz dealership that doesn't sell as many AMGs, and they're trying to stay in the AMG game, they need to move AMGs to maintain their allotment with MB. So they can be *very* negotiable to make a sale...IF you know the dealer's status

My previous AMG was discounted by nearly $10K off of MSRP IIRC, which was almost an 8% discount (dealer still made profit on the car obviously). And no, this wasn't European delivery, nor was it a vehicle that they had in stock. It was a custom build. As rmt52 mentioned, you can even get a bigger discount if you're aggressive...

Oh and those lease terms suck. My Edition 1 has a higher MSRP, and a higher mileage allowance, with a lower monthly payment, with NOTHING down.

Just sayin.

I'd offer to get you a better deal, but it would mean purchasing the car from my guy locally, and then transporting it to the other coast. Not sure if that's somethin you'd be interested in...

It really is crazy how much lease deals vary from one manufacturer to the next. I think I got super lucky with my Land Rover because looking at MB, there didn't even seem to be anything comparable.
