To be fair, I don't believe the sedan and coupe share the same fitment limitations.

17 C63 S Coupe
I am talking about a C63 S Coupe running a 295 at the rear. I know I read that people are running a 15MM in the rear. Am I wrong?

Sanch, how did you get around the hub centric collar issue with a 10mm spacer? I know you had it custom machined but wouldn't you have the same issue as buying a 10mm spacer from the beginning? Thanks.

reviving an old thread. i would also like to know how sanch got a 10mm spacer to work.

also has anyone tried a 13mm spacer? we know 12mm doesnt work, but does the extra mm give enough clearance to sit flush?

The right 12mm spacer does work even if running a 295 tread in the rear. I'm lowered also.

Ummm. I tried a 13mm spacer which did not fit the coupe. Where did you get 12mm that fit and is it the coupe? Can you send pictures of the spacer to hub contact?

this^^

as far as i can tell and after a few inquiries with reputable manufacturers, 6mm or less should work on front 8mm or less on back. and then you have to go to 14mm+. nnothing in between will allow the hub to extend enough to center wheel.

I have a 2017 C63s coupe using 12mm rears and the hub is not an issue, at least for the aluminum spacers that I'm running. I'm also lowered with 295s out back. I have 15mm on the front but I'm changing to 20mm. I'll take a picture of them seated flush with the hub when I get home.

See this thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...oupe-pics.html

Edit: 12mm rear spacer:

your hubs must be longer than the c300 and c43s. cause there is no way we can fit a 12mm wheel and hub centric spacer on front or rear and still clear hub. are your spacers flat or are the wheel and hub centric?

edit: the link posted from ebay shows wheel and hub centric. this must mean your hubs are shorter than ours. or those spacers wheel centric portion have an extremely thin lip.

The link says it's not compatible.
This is what I suspected.

Well thats what Dave (Rock) posted and he isnt usually one to spin tales. Maybe he can chime in further.

Technically the link doesnt even show cars above the MY 2013 as compatible which seems odd as well.

Vic is correct. Their data base is not up to date. I'm just sharing what worked on my C63s. You can decide what will work for yours.

I put on 255 F / 275 R and 15 mm spacers from Supreme Power all around. The rear pokes a little more than I would like, but the 15 mm are hub-centric and safer to run than anything thinner.

The new rubber is Pilot Sport 4S, and these tires are amazing. No break in traction at all in 1st gear, compared to tons of wheel hop with the SuperSports. I was concerned about not going to 285, but have no regrets about only going to 275.

Looking great. Any rubbing with 275's and 15mm spacers on the rear?

I've been told by a local tire shop that the new pilot 4s are close to 10mm wider than previous Michelin super sports. Maybe that's why they seem to poke out in rear?

Nope. I haven't carried any load other than myself, so far though.

How is the new setup going? Any rubbing? Would 285’s fit on the 9.5” wheel with the 15mm spacers?

My H&R 12mm’s didn’t fit my sedan. My shop ground down the hubs until they fit flush. The 15’s in the rear fit perfect. So weird.

I just wanted to add to this thread. I fitted the PS4S in 295 today. Running KW and have 12mm Eibach spacers in the rear, they were rubbing on slow turns and bumps. Car might be too low and also I think the 4S in 295 is actually 10mm wider than the SS. Going to try and raise the rear and see how we go.

I wanted to give you my take on the whole spacer subject. I ran 17.5 and 15 in the back when I had stock tires. It fit almost perfect until I upgraded my tires to P4S's. My new tires were 265/35/19 and 305/30/20 and my car started to rub (rear tires) going up bumps and driveways. This is on stock suspension might I add. Now I'm stuck without spacers, but I might try 12mm in the back and 17.5 in the front to see if it works out. This car is a coupe.

I am on the same tire and stock height and still rubbed with 12's. I took them off and went with 5's.
