Tires, Spaced and Lowered Coupe- Pics
I really should have never waited. It's amazing how much just a couple of simple alterations can change the visual impact of an already beautiful car. Thanks to Vic55 and Sanch for helping with questions. I used the KW HAS system that was purchased through Golan at Auto Talent. Quick shipping and reasonably priced. I also replaced the rear tires with Pilot Super Sport tires 295/30/20 and added 12mm rear spacers and 15 front. The inexpensive aluminum spacers with extended lugs came from ebay and are a perfect fit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/281241872813 They have numerous sizes.
Whats amazing about the KWs is how little they alter the stock ride feel. I hated the KW HAS that was on my CLS63 due to the harsh ride but these are much different......... or maybe the C63s has a much better suspension to begin with. The only additional thing that I may adjust is the front. I'm either going to change to a 265 width PSS or change the spacer to a 18-20mm.

Looks so dang sexy and mean at the same time. What do you recommend for 255 front and 285 rear? I've been wanting to do this but have spent to much on cosmetic upgrades I think this will be last for now

I believe it has no significant affect on ESP.

I would assume there's some marginal improvement but I've not really pushed it hard enough to tell since the change.

Spacers have zero effect on traction control systems.
Rock/Dave, Im glad you finally posted some pics of the ride and now you see why I enjoy the KW's over the factory springs coupled with the dampers. The ride looks great!!!

Makes me want to pull the RS7 KW box out of the basement for install. BTW, did I miss the thread on your RS7 Performance?

Looks fantastic if not perfect one of the best modded C63S coupes I've seen so far another 2 would be is Vic55's and Sanch's coupes...
Also love the fact you've opted for the silver wheels, IMHO they look infinitely better than the black alternatives on any car colour

I've been wanting to do this to my car as well. But I have the C63s Sedan, and I've had no luck in finding good specs, especially for spacers. I have ordered the Weistec Sleeve kit and looking into getting some 15mm spacers until I get wheels. @Sanch you would't happen to have any advice on that for the sedan would you?

If I still had my sedan, I would do exactly this. I'd recommend waiting till the tires have worn out and doing this mate, you wont regret it.
Additionally, I have also ordered the Michelin PS4S to put on my new forged wheels (hush hush )
These are not out in Oz yet... they have to be specially ordered and shipped - but well worth it from all the feedback I've gathered.

Interesting but I hope that is not the case. I've used ESC, H&R as well as this Ebay seller spacers in the past and I've never had an issue. The melting point of aluminum is 1,200+ degrees so I can't imagine how anything attached to the hub would approach those kind of temps. I did have my ESC spacers corrode on my RS5 and I had to have a shop remove them. Anyways, I'll report back in the future if I've made an epic mistake.
