Badge removal on C63 S?
I'm in the process of ordering a C63 S and I like the look of the car without the badges. There is a car local to me that is pretty close to the specs I have in mind but it has badges.
Is it easy to remove the badges if I get a car that has them? Would there be a hole or glue left over? Am I likely to scratch the paint if I remove them?
Thank you!

Floss and Goo Gone or tar remover to get rid of the residual adhesive. Try to run the floss as close to the paint as possible. The adhesive is similar to double sided tape but a little thinner.

Been there, done that. I rebadged my Ex-2012 "E550 4matic" to "E250 CGI" for Job-reasons. This was actually pretty funny, as this car was fast enough to play with the big ones
As already stated here: hair dryer to soften the clue and than dental floss is the way to go. Absolutely no problem, even on used cars.

I'm with you - I like the cleaner look of a debadged rear end. The goo be gone is fine or something petroleum based for the glue residue. Just make sure to wash immediately with soap and water. I had some hesitation with the Magno paint on mine, but it came out just fine - no ghosting where the badge had been.

The plebs can just think, "It's a Mercedes" and I'm more than fine with that.

Thanks for the help guys. I removed my rear badges last night with a heat gun, some dental floss, and some Goo Gone. I took my time and they came off perfectly. I love the look.
Found out that getting the big glue blobs off was easiest if I heated them then pulled on them while they were hot. Burned my fingahs!
