The trunk money is factory money, its there no matter what if the dealer wants to share it. That dealer is just trying to hold gross as the discounts are mutually exclusive of each other.

Smile C63s Coupe

hey guys border line of ordering a c63s coupe for well below the going rate, although now that i have read that the new face lifted c class is coming I'm a bit hesitant of the drop in the coupes price, have they announced if the face lift will be in a coupe and AMG model? if so what would you say the depreciation will be on the current 17 coupe if that hits next year? they usually retail at 170k aud (yes f**king Rip off with government charges)

This is a great thread, as I'll be shopping hard for a deal on a sedan in a few months. At that point it will be MY18...I worry a good deal won't be possible since dealer claims they never keep a sedan around long enough to sit on the lot.

That's not true. New c63s models have been sitting on lots for 5 months or more. Also as a reference, look at what 16s are going for used. My dealer friend says the residual on these is .57 after 3 years. Worth a little more than half of MSRP after 3 years. Ouch. I'm thinking twice about buying new now.....

I've never seen an AMG residual that high on a 3 year lease.

And on a side note, here in Los Angeles, I can about guarantee some great deals in about 3-6 months on the cabriolet. Looks like every dealership is overstocked right now.

57% is rather high as Palpatine stated on an AMG car--- and then you can add to that by lowering your mileage allowance (up to 61). Its not BMW crazy like the M's (they start at 60 or close for 15k at 36) get but its better than Ive seen on AMG's from MBFS. They rope you in buy running up the residual and also running a very high standard lease factor. The best lease factor currently, if one auto qualifies, is .00190 or 4.56%. So they make their money there and then they hold you on the car for the term as well.

Now if you want to see a low low residual check out the 65's at 36 months; they lie in the bottom 40's.

My mistake. What I meant to say is that facelift will most likely happen after the 4th model year (just like the previous generation of C class). So again most likely it will be MY2019. Anyways I think some dealers have the '18 ordering guide and not much, if anything has changed.
