What are stock extreme performance tires
I know the stock tires are Michelin pilot super sport.
When you add the option extreme performance tires, what are those tires?
On tirerack, I see that Michelin pilot sport cup 2 is also listed as original equipment. Are they the extreme performance tires?

They'll have noticeably less wet traction, especially hydroplaning resistance. And they'll get significantly worse tread life than the stock Michelin PSS tires will get (at absolute most maybe 50% of the tread life).
They will have more dry grip (more handling/lateral grip increase than acceleration grip) and will have a much more responsive feel.
They are worth looking into if your car is a weekend warrior toy car. I'd highly recommend you look for PSS-type tires if your car is a daily driver.
