Foam Cannon Set Up
I was looking into getting a foam cannon set up. Those of you who have one, mind sharing what you guys are using? I am a bit torn between gas vs electric pressure washers. Also which foam gun/ setup to use.
I was specifically wondering the psi/ flow rate you guys are using for getting good foaming.
and I use this foam gun with the pressure washer:
I get great foam action using this set-up and would not waste money on buying anything more expensive. However, I did buy the pressure washer from home depot when they had a sale for $70.

Thanks for sharing! I heard that if the flow rate is below 2.2 GPM, the foam that comes out apparently is extremely runny. Also did you get new hoses or use just the one that comes with the pressure washer? Also what about the gun, haha?
PS: Are you from Canada? If so did you get it from Amazon?

My foam does not run at all. the foam gun itself has an adjuster, which helps you choose how thick you want the foam. This setup works just like the videos you see on Instagram - no runny business.
I didn't buy any additional hoses or anything. I just connect the foam cannon to the pressure washer gun - no new gun or hoses.
I am from Texas - bought the foam cannon gun from Amazon and the pressure washer from Home Depot just because they had that deal. If not, I probably would have bought it from Amazon

I have the full professional gear with additional snow Foamer. The foam does nothing to remove dirt and grime betting the initial spray. The upside is it goes on this I so you cover the whole car and then wash it with a microfibres glove and just an rinse bucket. So I just use the foam as suds to clean the car. Stays thick and you can see where you have washed and as it’s thick it doesn’t dry before rinse.

works amazing
This is the one I have now. Sunjoe with MTM foam cannon and gun. The new Foam lance came with a smaller orifice as well which gives out extremely thick foam. Loving my current setup. Did not find the need for gas washer anymore.

Sweet setup.

So I have the following:
1) Sunjoe SPX 3000 Pressure washer
2) From MTM's website. This one comes with the 1.1mm orifice, which you need for getting thick foam using Sunjoe. Replace the 1.25mm with 1.1mm.
3) Quick disconnects for making things easy
4) Ordered from Obsessed Garage ( Comes with the Quick disconnects for attaching it to Sunjoe Hose really quick)
5) Adam's Car Shampoo- Simply amazing this one. Just get the normal one and fill the bottle 1/4 way, mix the rest with warm water.
And that is it.

1) I use a Gerni pressure washer (1885psi) for the initial clean. https://www.gerni.com.au/en/products...aspx?fid=16668
2) Foam Lace gun - https://www.carcareproducts.com.au/p...now_foam_lance

4) Wash (2 bucket) - https://www.carcareproducts.com.au/p...eon/q2m_bathe_ & https://www.carcareproducts.com.au/p...n/q2m_smoothie
5) Wipe down - https://www.carcareproducts.com.au/p...k_drying_towel
6) Blow all excess water (car & wheels) - https://www.carcareproducts.com.au/p...torcycle_dryer
This is the Autobrite Magi foam, it goes on thick and sticks to the car for 15-20 mins before rinsing.
The end product...
