The diff change is required for all C63's (Both S and Non-S). I just went out and snapped a pic of the break-in/diff change window sticker (if they weren't already there when you picked up, the dealer may have removed them for delivery):

And the disagreement here stems from the fact that if you follow those instructions on the windshield sticker and look up "further instruction" using the '15 or '16 "Service Booklet", there is no mention that vehicles with the electronic LSD (option code 467) need the service.

This can easily be a typo in the service booklets for '15 and '16 that was then rectified in '17 (as pictures earlier show the difference).

Or it could be that the sticker on the windshield is a generic sticker put on all AMG vehicles and the specific needs of the car are outlined in the service booklet and with the techs that run your VIN at the dealership.

That's my whole point: I agree that this service SHOULD be done for ALL W205 C63s. But for whatever reason, the 2015/2016 documentation does NOT mention this service for the E-diff.
