Widest tires for front and rear on stock edition 1 wheels?
Ive got a sedan by the way!
Whats the widest I can go on front and rear on some OEM 19" Edition 1 wheels? 255/35 and 275/35? Thanks!

I've personally fit 285/35/19 on the rear with a 57 Offset wheel (if I'm recalling correctly the offset) and it had loads of room. Fair to say a spacer in the rear and the right tire you can go wider but with out doing some research myself, I wouldn't plan to go wider than 285/295 on the stock rear wheel.
A larger tire will go on the rim and it will fit in the wheel well but it will not be correct.
If you listen to the experts as to how large a tire is proper on a rim look at the tire rack numbers.
The largest (proper fit)on a 81/2 rim is 255 and the largest on a 91/2 rim is 285 but using that throws the ratio from front to rear off SO again --using factory rims on a sedan the largest PROPER size is 255 front and 275 rear.

Thank you!
What tires should I order for more grip over the 265 stock michelins?
maybe some Hankook RS4?

P4S in 285/265 might be the winner here for me. I have a 28 mile commute to work so I'd rather not use R888 which howl like a coyote and wear out in 2 months XD
If you're DD'ing the car (I drive the same distance each day with mine) I'd go P4S or PSS depending (as you already have the PSS).
I'm switching to the Multispoke wheel and PSS combo this saturday, as my S currently has the Dunlops (which are "Meh" at best) both in stock sizes and my car is stock other than a DTE Tuning box.

get good compound in the appropriate size and call it a day IMO. Or get different wheels so you can fit a wider tire.
Anything more than 255 on an 8.5 is retarded.
