Preferred factory black wheels for C63s coupe?
Having a hard time deciding between the two available black wheels. Is there one that is generally preferred over the other? Maybe easier to clean brake dust off of? Easier to avoid curb rash with one over the other?
19/20-inch AMG forged cross-spoke, Black
vs
19/20-inch AMG forged twin 5-spoke, black
or maybe there is a better aftermarket alternative (not looking to change tires though)

I agree regarding the black 5-spoke... that silver lip is way too big. However, an Obsidian Black car without the Night Package looks kind of interesting with the black 5-spoke wheels. I still wouldn't do it, but the silver lip combined with the silver trim on the car definitely form a theme.

Those wheels look like Winter Wheel's...but even my Winter Wheels look nicer than that though. LOL

Well I ordered those wheels on my coupe. Thought full black wheels would be kind of boring because everyone has them. Its hard to tell from pictures what the silver ring will really look like in person...they can actually look pretty neat with the right setup. I'll post pics once I get my car...hopefully those wheels aren't puke-worthy in person!

If you hate them you can always have them powder coated.

i too am undecided.....close to buying a car today....it has the forged 5 twin spoke wheels (not be confused with the 5 star)....and only option it's lacking is the parking sensors/parktronic that i think i could live without. the wheels are growing on me, i'd most definitely replace the silver lugs with black ones.
Add: saw the forged 5 twin spoke wheels in person. Yes, the silver lip is pronounced but it’s not an ugly wheel, it simply is pronounced especially on a black car. That’s not entirely bad as it did break up the all black scheme and gave it a different look than the alternative wheel.
