lol. The texts after pickup are always the best. I remember the owner of our development BMW X5M texting the engineering head 5 minutes after he picked up his car and it just said "1. HOLY ********!, 2. Thank You.". Anyhoo--- Enjoy, Digitalnav. =)

I never thought the day would come that I would say this, but does this car really need more power? I can break the tires loose in 2nd gear with my C63 S and it already cant put the power down terribly well on launch...I feel like it needs AWD to be able to take advantage of 609hp and 660 lb ft of torque.
Wow...I must be getting old.

Wow this tune pulls hard. Thanks Dinan for a great product! Amazing power!
And thanks to Sean and the SD Autotech (now Carbahn Autoworks) San Jose team for the great install on the tune and the suspension goodies.

$2200 for what is effectively a chip!@? It's more like $700 for the chip and $1500 for insurance. I've had Dinan chips in my old E36 BMWs back long ago when it made sense. For $2200, if I wanted to have a faster car...I'd get a faster car! I'm more likely to upgrade to the new E63S AMG than chip my C63S. Just my opinion.

The E63S is a straightline rocket but feels like a boat compared to the C63s. You're paying for the insurance AND the R&D that goes into the product and the brand. If youre spending $84K on a car, $2K on a tune with the piece of mind is relatively cheap IMO factoring in you keep warranty.

As someone who tracked the new E63S and C63S.... i disagree.

You can totally disagree for your purposes assuming that you track the car a lot. For most folks that will not track either car, it's potentially a waste of money (relatively). If I were tracking anything, it'd be the 911 or other car that is more "track worthy". The C63 and the E63, are both too heavy.
If you don’t like Dinan’s price and warranty, there are plenty of other piggybacks that will make as much power for a fraction of the cost. Just don’t expect any tuner to back the warranty the way Dinan does if something goes wrong with the drivetrain.
