I'm curious how this would look on a white C63...

My insert has a nasty chip on it, so this would solve both problems at the same time!

Thats why I want to do it. My car is white with night package. and dark window tints all around

I'm not sure if you can cover the star with vinyl or anything, I think if you tinted the star it wouldn't interfere with the distronic plus? Has anyone tried to black out the star and can maybe give some insight?

I know it can be done. I have seen his car before. But idk how he did it and that was my question. It looks like a tint but I am not sure.

I did mine as well, but decided to keep the ring around the star. I feel like it gives the car more character.

Also the all blacked grill above has a 5% tint in the glass bit - I follow the dude on Insta.

Thanks sanch. Do you know if his distronic plus worked the same even after the 5% tint? or did he just no longer use it. Im assuming if you use the high end non-metalized tint there shouldn't be a problem.
