Honestly, that's really bad. You would have owned the car outright if you had financed the car instead for 60 months. You're going to pay $70K for a 90K MSRP car. If you can unwind that deal, I would do that ASAP.

You could have got an AMG GT/S for the same monthly payment for 36 months 10K a year.

Mercedes lease horribly to begin with. You can get a new Jaguar F Type R or BMW M4 for about $900/month. I've actually seen people get lower.

4 year lease? May as well just owner financed it. Definitely see if you can get out of this lease or switch to owner finance.

First see if you can unwind the deal.

You have to do the legwork, I can tell you where to look. Your best bet is a Northeast dealership because its winter and RWD sports cars aren't the top sellers.

Look at car gurus and email the dealership that has the car you want, and tell them how much you want to pay - $1400 a month including tax, 36 months and 10K miles per year and just first month payment due at signing.

And post the deal that you're getting before you do anything, you can PM me directly.

The cheapest I could find a lease for was $1550/mo 10K miles per year with $10K down, 42 months for a similar spec'd car. It was back in February. And I have excellent credit 800+.. I too am in So Cal. I ended up getting mine at Keyes Van Nuys. Beverly Hills wanted $1800/mo for the same lease.

Amg's do not lease well so I ended up buying it. But the deal you got is not bad for an AMG lease from what I have see.
See if you can unwind the deal and buy it then do it if it will make you feel better, but if not enjoy the car it will put a smile on your face every time you drive it. Easily worth $1420 per month in smiles

I wish sales people were not such scum bag, most do everything they can to ruin the experience for us car nuts. Do not let them ruin a great car.

Thank you all for helping! I really appreciate it.

Take a look at this, does this mean I can have my credit union finance this amount and get out of the lease from MBF?

You can if you want--- but you will pay sales tax on the purchase which you didnt via the lease. Based on your payoff you didnt get that much off MSRP or I think you got it at MSRP. Feel free to PM with your residual and net cap (its on your lease agreement).

i wish i could make a 90k impulse buy lol. damn 70k paid at end of lease. you would think if you make that kind of money to impulse lease a c63 you could do simple math. 70k paid into a lease and you dont own the car. id buy out of lease if you are stuck in it at that point.

With the money you put down plus the buy out amount, just go ahead and change it to a financed deal and take the hit.

For clarity, once one takes delivery of a vehicle in CA the deal cannot be unwound (no cooling off period). Can one “re-finance” the car after taking delivery ? Yes.

Sounds like it's too late to unwind. Just enjoy the car now and don't look back!

Use this is a life lesson for the future so you don't make the same mistake again.

Also, please PM me the contact info for your salesman, I want to keep his info on file in case I need to hire a good sales guy. LOL

All kidding aside, you could always go back to the dealer, tell him you feel like you got ripped off relative to what other people paid, but that it's your own fault and you accept it's a done deal. See if they'll hook you up with something like free service, some swag etc. so that you leave the dealership feeling good. I'm sure they'd be happy to do that for you considering the extra money they made off this deal. They'd like you to feel good about your last experience so that you'll come back to buy another car in the future. If they say no, never go back to them again.

I'm pretty sure they'll do something for you though.

Guys, at this point after all the calculations factoring in tax and APR, it looks like financing the car would end up costing me a bit more compare to leasing. I don’t plan to keep this car for more than 4 years anyways so... I’ll stick with lease for now. Unless somebody has a better idea. I think refinancing after 6months maybe another good option. What do you guys think?

My guess is you can afford the car and the payment. Just enjoy the car now. I lease all my AMG's for 3 years, and sell them just before the lease ends. I usually make a couple grand "profit" selling because MB usually low ***** the residual. Regardless, enjoy that fine looking machine!

The decision is yours. I only suggest that next time if you are making a decision, gather first the best information before you will get into a deal. There are lots of options if you want, but of course, the only decision is from you. Next time, for more leasing options, you may consider looking your lease deal here, dsrleasing.com/car-listings.

this is your lease:

2018 C63S Coupe MSRP 90k
0 down, $2600 (first mo payment+registration+ dmv fee)
$1420 including tax /mo 48mo 12k/yr
at the end of the 48 months, you will have paid $68,160.....and have zero to show for it.

this is what financing the car would look like, over the same 48 months @ 3.5% interest rate.....remember, at the end of the 48 months you would own the car.

2018 C63S Coupe MSRP 90k
$20k down (80% loan to value of vehicle plus tax)
$79k loan (includes sales tax on the $90k car) @ 3.5% for 48 months
$1,770 monthly payment ....includes tax...unlimited miles per year
at end of 48months: $104,960 in total payments including down payment made
you own the car....which will be worth less than 50% of the original market value, but for the purposes of the excercise....let's say it worth around $50,000.
you want to sell the car at the end of the 48 months.....$104,960 paid minus the $50,000 received at time of sale.....cost to own $54,960.

i think i did that right.
