C63S Sedan + Used Corvette Grand Sport vs Used 911 Turbo S(991) - What would you buy?
As usual, I was killing time on cars(dot)com. It seems for the same amount of money you can buy a C63S Sedan + low mileage C7 Grand Sport or a few years old 991 Turbo S.
Which option would you pick with your own hard earned money and why?

Depends.
Right now I want to stick to one car that can fit 4 adults comfortably and also be fun to drive. Hence why I'm looking forward to the facelifted 2019 C63S sedan as my next car.
If I did the two car approach I would keep a slightly toned down daily driver (e.g. Audi SQ5 or S4) and have a fun leisure car on the side. A C7 grand sport wouldn't be my first choice, but it would work just fine.

If you don’t need the space then no question a turbo S. It’s a lot more engaging to drive. Remember that the AMG is not a true sports car; 911s are.

Turbo S. Fast, holds its value, looks great. The C63 is a C class plus upgrades. A vette is a dedicated sports car platform but it’s so-so build quality and a very mixed bag when it comes to dealership quality. Both will depreciate more than the Porsche.

I think if you let someone else eat the initial depreciation, Turbos do hold their value on the used market after a while.. even the much maligned 996 is now starting to climb back up in value.

Two are sports cars and one is a sport sedan. The sports cars will obviously offer more performance, but less practicality. Of the two sports cars, the Corvette is a little more practical in the sense of it has the ability to carry more stuff in its much larger trunk area. The Porsche isn’t bad in that regard, but definitely has less easily usable space. As stated, the Corvette has a lower build quality than either German, but it is less expensive to repair, which is something to consider buying an older 991 with less or no warranty. The Porsche has the ability to drive year round in winter conditions with its AWD: I wouldn’t drive the Corvette with any snow or ice on the ground.
It’s a question of what you will use the car for. Is it your only car? I would recommend the the C63S. A second car just for fun? I would carefully evaluate the two sports cars for condition before making my decision. I’ve owed both form factors and both are a lot of fun.

The comparison seems crazy.
But Porsche makes the bests sports cars in the world, IMO. You get all of the performance and all of the creature comforts. Best gearboxes in the world for consumer products. Still subtle in nature to not draw too much attention. Hold value fairly well.

depends on how many cars you have 
911 turbo S for weekends, and C63 daily driver. Skip the corvette... never like the designs on domestic cars. If this will be your only car, then definitely a C63. Can't imagine anyone would drive a 911 as a daily driver... not very confortable
