Skipping Wipers

Yes, by the 3rd set on a car with less than 10k miles they did replace a set under warranty.
I keep telling them it’s NOT the wipers! We did get some nice rain and I took a few videos for them to see what is happening and they will send to Mercedes Tech Dept. it’s like the water is being vacuumed back over the windshield. Only way to get i to move off the drivers side window is to go around a bend! The passenger side is fine….
hopefully, they figure this out as this is a hazard when driving in the rain or snow.

This has been a great read as I noticed already I have the jumping issue. Car is 4 yrs old with nearly 40k mi so whatever originally coating was on the windshield is long gone.
Wondering if more ppl have had positive experiences with the Bosch Aerotwins, or the PIAA wipers? for the PIAA, do you buy 2x 22" wipers or 1 22" and 1 20"?
Thanks.

I bought 2 22” for the piaa...I've gone back to oem wipers now though as as piaas started skipping worse than oem after a couple of months. The piaas are suppose to leave a thin silicone coating on the windscreen which is are meant to make them wipe better and the windscreen water repellent. Probably didn't work well with my ceramic coating.

I've had good luck solving the wiper skipping issue by cleaning the wiper blades with a mild alcohol based wipe such as a glasses cleaning wipe. The problems stems from road grime and environmental elements building up on the windshield over time.

I have had skipping wipers on my 2017 C300 Coupe and my 2018 C43 Coupe. No matter what I did (take to dealer multiple times, changed wiper blades, tried Bosch brand), nothing was changing the skipping. I found wipers on AliExpress that work perfectly and I swear by them for the last 3+ years - Broshoo brand.

Very easy. Identical install like the OEM's. I swear by them and they do NOT chatter/skip! My last pair last 3 years! Just replaced them in may of 2021....I ordered two more sets as backups. They either get shipped from Canada or China. Either shipment takes about 2-3 weeks. Great customer service too at AliExpress! Trust me they are game changers for the c class C205 coupes!

Do you mind taking a pic of the blade, in particular where it attaches to the wiper arm? I just tried the aero blades and they do NOT have the same little box like attachment point so I'm returning them. Want to make sure these are the same, unless we have to replace the attachment mechanism on the wiper arm itself?
This is the YouTube video I always reference when changing blades. They look almost identical to the OEM MB blades
The Broshoo blades are life changers with fixing the skipping issue! Truly amazing!

& these are 100% direct replacement. You do not need anything additional. You literally snap off the stock OEM and attach these. I'll post pics to this thread tonight.
