2018 C63S Coupe Is it a good deal?
Hi guys,
My C43 was considered lemon due to tranny issue and got bought back from mbusa earlier.
Now I am considering upgrade to the real AMG.
Contacted several dealer and below is so far the best offer I received.
Polar white C63S Coupe almost fully loaded
It has Perf Exhaust, Light pkg, Multimedia, parking pkg, Perf Seat, carbon trim, HUD,
MSRP-------------------------------$89,440
I was offered with $80500, including fleet discount $1500
Is it considered a good deal considering next MY is coming out soon?

Ohh man I cannot hold off my self.
Signed the paper of a C63S Coupe today.
Black on black with perf exhaust, perf seat, carbon trim, light pkg, multimedia pkg, parking pkg, black forged wheel.
MSRP$90500 negotiated down to $79500.
12% off MSRP. Can't be happier.

$80K is alot to spend for a biggger AMG that is justified as being the only "real" AMG. The C43 is real as the handlingl, braking, AND engine are all sanctioned by AMG. Just not "hand built" which I think
is truly a gimmick.
I love my C43!! I also considered the 63 but felt it was too bulky and really more appropriate only if you track occasionally. I don't.
The '18 43 is a great deal considering all the std equipment you get and only requires a couple items added like the PERFORMANCE EXHAUST.

Is still a C class, C300, C43 or C63. is an entry level mercedes, the C43 is pushing it in price, mine was $69k MSRP and I got 12% discount and a good lease program.
But when you see a C63 pushing $80k MSRP, for a C class? I would move to another car at that price level.
A 2018 BMW M550 with MSRP just under $80k, or the E43 at $85k fully loaded, seems more car for the price.
the C class is a fun little car, but once you get into $80k or more, I just don't see it as a smart buy.
now, this is just my opinion and I don't intend to offend anyone, but sometimes we focus more on the deal we get than on the value.

Youre not wrong, it is a lot of money for a “C Class” in the same way that a Jeep Trackhawk is a lot of money for a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but just because you can get a level higher car for the same price doesn’t mean they’re competitors.
Edit: I say this as a C63S owner who now knows that 500+ HP in a daily isn’t super practical, but sure is fun.

You can call the 63 the real AMG if you like but I got an 18 43 AMG with PE for 53K. (10% off) This was as a new order and had to wait only 3 months. Only other options I really felt necessary was wood interior and Iridium silver paint in addition to PE. Love this car! Came out of a Cayman S and was afraid of being disapointed but no way! The sound, speed from stop are far better in C43. Handling is a hair less due to front engine but still feel made a great move. IMO the PE is an amazing, needed option.

C-Class is no longer the entry level Mercedes. That said, I do agree with you (seriously) about the focus on deal vs value, but you have to remember what people value is entirely different. There is no Mercedes that is a good value, objectively speaking, but if a specific model provides more of what is important to the buyer than the next carol similar price, then it is definitely a good value.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I drove the C43 at COTA, did 6 laps in it, and it’s not even close to the same league as the 63S. Everything about it was softer, slower, and understeerey. The exhaust is pretty damn loud though. Just not fun to drive on the track hard... but the SLC43 takes the cake for the worst AMG on sale today. Man is that thing a disappointment, easily the worst handling car of the bunch.

I'm looking at the deals posted on this thread and I wonder if anybody can get practical advice how to beat the dealer? My dealer does not want to give me a good price for AMG C43 vehicle. While MSRP is around 68K he offers just 2K off the sticker price and he says that it is unrealistic to get even 6% off the price.

Sorry to hear that you are apparently MANually deficient. Tough to sell 4 incher as a high performer. Totally understand why you would need to get the bigger engine/wheelbase in a lame attempt to
compensate for this anatomical problem Just sayin, if you don't track the 63, I see no need for it. Except in your case, of course. For $80K, the BMW M is far more a racing vehicle.
