Yeah totally, and in my opinion, not any major changes to warrant the 2019 or make me regret getting a 2018. 9g vs 7g meh.. There actually is no performance increase per those two articles, they just say quicker shift times with no metrics to back it up. It obviously has no impact in the zero to 60 time. No AWD either. Is there going to be an R? Then maybe I’d care.

I'm actually relieved the changes are so subtle.
I was worried I'd be getting buyers remorse if the 2019 came out with all these new features and a whole new look!

I like the Panamericana grille, and the larger info screen. 9G has some bugs to be worked out, so i'll keep the 7G that's been refined for years now. I know of 3 W213 E63s that have already had to have their trans replaced... all with less than 7K miles on them. No thanks.

As I predicted all 2019 C63 models including sedan, coupe and convertible get Panamericana grille. Since C43 got the grille from C63, and C300 with AMG line got the grille from C43 I new C63 is getting Panamericana front...

I actually prefer the old grill and old lower facia. Maybe if it gets blacked out it will look better. But it looks less sporty to me for some reason.
I also prefer the old rear fascia but the new dash and 9 speed are a nice upgrade. Although I have heard some problems with the 9sd trans.
I have had my car for 15 months now and could not be happier. I normally get a new car every year but there is nothing available under $100K that I would prefer over my 2017 c63s coupe and it still puts a smile on my face everytime I start it up. . Merc did an amazing job with the w205. In my opinion it is the perfect daily with just the right amount of comfort and sporty feel.

Strange, haven't heard many bad things about the 9G-Tronic. We've delivered probably 9 E63s now, only one trans issue that I can think of among them.
We still have a couple 18's left in stock if anyone was interested before the switch!

Not saying that there's an issue with the 9G-Tronic or not, but just saying only 1/9 cars having an issue is not a good thing IMO. There should be ZERO transmission issues for a brand new E63S this early in the game!

Well it was a launch car that had seen some heavy use and was missing shift points at WOT. I'm sure much of the 9G issues have been sorted since then. Especially now that it's made its way onto two other AMG platforms.

I hate to say it, but there isn't anything that they've changed that I like better than what's on my '15 sedan. Only thing that I could maybe see is the digital dash, but I love the design of the current analog gauge and hate seeing that go away.
I like the current front and rear of the current car a lot better than the update, especially the front. And I've never really been a fan of the Panamericana grille. It makes the front end look too busy/bulbous and draws too much attention away from the design lines around it.
To each their own I guess.

The new dash is an improvement but it's not as cool as the double widescreen dash in the E and S class. I'm guessing the next generation C will get that setup.

I was looking forward to the refresh but the Panamerican grille reminds me of dinosaur teeth for some reason. I was afraid they were going to shove the E-Class’s dashboard in the C and I’m glad they didn’t. The digital dash in cluster area looks great. I prefer the looks of the old headlights much better. Another disappointment is the lack of MBUX. The C43 on the other hand looks amazing!

So the changes in 2019: front grill, new key design, digital cluster, new steering wheel, transmission? Are the sticking out rear bumpers removed tho?
Wish the new steering wheel plus new key can be swapped somehow lol.
