Need more noise!

Am thinking to go with Weistec downpipes and stage 1 tune in the next couple of weeks through GAD tuning, they stage 2'd my M4 last year and they have done a few c63's.

I have decided to go down the downpipe route as the Akra exhaust is way to expensive for not making that much more noise, and the Remus sounds a bit boring and FI just takes away the sound of the car IMO.

Have many people gone down this route and preferred it to just an exhaust?

If i was to choose any i think it would be Remus!

Thoughts???

Do catless downpipes and secondary cat delte, or catless DPs with AWE track exhaust. That's the best setup i've heard on these cars.

I thought that to! From my understanding it is quite difficult to remove secondary cats on the W205, not as easy as the previous generation....

Downpipes sound awesome...

To remove the secondary cats you have to cut the downpipe in half and weld a piece of pipe in place of the cat.

To remove the downpipe you have to drop the transmission unless you get a 2-piece DP like EC's... And you'll have to cut the DP in half to get it out without dropping the transmission.

I'm thinking about getting DPs, too... Anybody know any good tuners in DFW? I'd get EC to tune the car if it was up to me, but such a pain to ship ECU out... Too much downtime that I don't have. Wish they were local.

Why do you think making more noise is better? I want to attract as little attention as possible.

iPE offers their Titanium exhaust with either sports cats or cat bypass. You gain 14.5 hp, 12 ft-lb's, and shed over 39 lbs from the OEM exhaust in addition to this sound.

Best selling exhaust system we have for the C63 by far.
