Just signed up for the ADVANCED AMG Driving Academy @ COTA in June. I did the BASIC last year @ Laguna Seca and it was a blast!
Just curious if anyone else will be there. Flying in for this one, so a cheap rental car it will be for me to get there.

Is this the paid one? Sometimes they do free events so just wondering.

Yes, this one is very much paid.

The one I did at Laguna Seca was part of the purchase reward program. I was sold on that one, so wanted to do the next level before I skip country.

I just finished the Advanced at Laguna Seca. Was a blast.

My $0.02, if you're planning on doing Pro+, sign up for it from now (if they'll let you). All 4 Pro+ courses are sold out for the rest of the year. So I'm on a wait list, and will likely have to wait until 2019 to do the Pro+...

I did the free/basic one at COTA last December and it was an awesome experience. It's so addictive, I need to go back for more! They had the GTR, AMG GTS, E63S, C43, SLC43 to lap around COTA... the GTR was mind blowing, and after getting out of the E63S I wanted to trade my Coupe in for it! They used the C63S Coupe for the skid pad/drifting, a CLA45 for the auto-x course, and an SL63 for the 0-60/braking.

I'm envious of anyone who gets to do it for 2019, I think they'll have the AMG GT63S 4-Door by then!

Cool to see they changed it up from when I did it last year! They used the E63s (older one) and C63 for the 0-60/braking and the SLC43 and C63s coupe for the skidpad. Glad to see they are using the CLA45 for auto-x (what they did at Laguna) as that is a fun little car!

My experience was similar at Laguna Seca last week:
- Track laps: GTC, E63S (2018), and GTR (the main track workhorse)
- Slalom and skidpad: C63S coupe
- Auto-X: CLA45 (not a fan), SLC43 (fun!)
- Trailbraking: SL65
