Downpipes with 300 Cats

Trying to get an aftermarket exhaust for the car but really can’t find any apart from the AWE switchpath which is on a really long wait time!

if I got some custom downpipes from “Mike” and asked him to weld some 300 CEL cats in, would that still throw an emissions light or upset the fuel balance etc? I want to try and avoid a tune... ideally I could get the originals cut throw Mikes custom DP’s in there and carry on as normal, simple and no tune... any drawbacks?

Post up some pics when you get them in.

I had mine ceramic heat coated inside and out to reduce engine bay temps.

Just something to consider before fitting.

Honestly I think its a waist to do 300 cel cats. Just go catless, I am running catless downpipe with no tune and not throwing a CEL

300's are not worth the time. cat less DP's dont always throw a code.

I'd get 100 or 200 cell cats instead. You'll still see some increased gains, and it will still sound way better than raspy, smelly catless setups. Keep in mind, catless downpipes only make 20-30 HP at the crank on this car with stock turbos. So who cares if you only make 15 HP with downpipes with high flow cats? 99% of people who do DP's are doing it for the sound anyway, and high flow catted DP's sound WAY better than catless.
