Yes definitely, feels like I’m one of the few willing to experiment and share the results.

As for rear pads, I think I went through 2 sets then upgraded to Porterfield.

Much better life, less dust and little to no squeak.

Search RDO247 for all my posts on upgrades and changes I’ve done over the last 3 yrs.

Hope this is helpful for everyone.
My problem isn’t uneven wear, it’s my lead foot...

Thanks for the the tips on pads, I’ll check them out. I don’t want to reduce stopping power or initial bite, but I’m not as concerned about those on the rear pads.

So finally got my new BC Forged. Loving them! They fit perfectly with no rubbing what so ever!

Running 295/30/19 in the rear and 265/35/19 in the front.

Have a question:
Originally the diameter for front tyres was 25.8" now 26.3 .
Diameter for the rear tyres was 26.3" now 26".

Originally the rear tyres where 0.5" larger in diameter than the front.
Now the rear tyres are 0.3" smaller in diameter than the front.

I am wondering if this effects traction control? Is traction control calculated by wheel rotation of front wheels vs rear wheels via the ABS?

Looks clean Zeek, beautiful finish on those BC’s...

Thx RDO247! Also thx for your input with wheel sizing!

Just need to work out if I increase the Tyre profile in the rear to 295/35/19 or decrease the fronts to 265/30/19. This will give it the correct ratio front to rear wheel diameter. I feel that maybe traction control kicks in a little to early? But then again I want to confirm if the front wheels have any bearing on traction control. Eg(ratio of front wheels rotations to rear wheel through the ABS)

Hey guys,

Will 18s clear the rear calipers? That will allow a 305 to fit a little better. I was thinking a Nitto NT05R would be plenty adequate for a stage 1 tune setup for the strip.

10.5” rear
9.5” front

heaps more grip. 295/30/19 rear

Im using the original rear tyres for the front. 265/35/19

Ideally 265/30/19 for the front. Will eventually change to this size as this will correct the ratio of front -rear wheel diameter. Also will look better.

Yes, there are wheel manufacturers like HRE that can produce an 18" wheel that clears the rears. The R101's come to mind.

I don’t think a 305/35/19 will fit on a factory wheels.

I had the above size on my 10.5” BC Forged rears and they scrubbed constantly with rolled guards and being lowered 20mm.

I think you would have to much tyre bulge.

295/18/45 loaded on the 2019+ Coupe rear wheel. I think they’re 18x10.5 with et+55. I’m lowered on H&R springs, zero rubbing.

there’s a chance it’s only 40 sidewall, that’s the only thing I don’t remember. They’re not on the car atm for me to look. But yea, the LCI 18” coupe wheels that are 10.5” wide.

Stock rear wheels on coupe are 18x10.5 +57ET, stock rear tires are 285/35ZR18.

295/40R18 has a diameter of 27.3".
