Easy. If it's going to be your DD, polar white because it isn't a pain in the a** to maintain. If you scratch the Magno, you will be repainting the whole panel.

With the Designo Grey Magno, the amount of heads turning and attention I get, feels like I am driving a much more expensive car. Just got to hand wash the car and maybe a tint if you are shy.

Magno but I would have it PPF wrapped as soon as I took delivery.

Sorry for making an off topic question but in the US you can already place the order for the facelift C63s? Can you tell what new colors did they add except graphite magno?

Now back to the main topic: it all depends on how you use the car but honestly I would go for graphite even for DD.

Yes, you can already place an order for the facelift C63s. Besides 818 Graphite Grey Magno, there is also 982 Iridium Silver Magno. The option price for both $2,020.

If you get magno you need to PPF the entire car to protect it. Or else any scratches are really hard to fix.

Surely you are best advised to get what you like rather than what others think.?

Completely agree. I have the magno on mine and got the PPF. You pay double in the end.

I was able to change the exterior color from Polar White to Designo Graphite Grey Magno. It will add an additional 6 to 8 weeks of delay since the factory needs more time to add extra layers of paint.

Has your dealer confirmed a delivery date to you? The reason I ask is because I’ve been trying to order a Graphite Grey Magno C63S since April and have been told by multiple dealers that the paint is currently not available, hasn’t been for some time. Word is the factory has ran out of this paint and no one seems to know when it’s going to be available again. Mercedes are frankly useless because even they have no clue when it’ll be available. A bit odd considering other models don’t seem to have the same restriction, I know people who’ve ordered GT63’s and GTs in this colour and they had no problem. The dealers just keep promising “oh... we’ll be able to order it within the next few weeks...” but still no order.

This was one of my original delays back in December when I ordered. In January/February, they told me that there "was no stock" of the magno cashmere white I wanted. After weeks of pushing things up the chain, I finally got a call that they would be able to fulfill my request but I would have to wait until April. I don't know how the paint process works, but your story does seem to be consistent with mine in that they limit the amount of magno colors available for this vehicle. I'm with you on the confusion as to why other cars don't seem to have this limitation. Maybe they just want it to be more exclusive somehow? That, or they don't make it readily available to the C-class cars? No idea...

If in fact there’s a hold or unavailable on an option then you can’t even select it in a build. I don’t think the factory gives any info until it becomes available. I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Different models are built at different locations. The C63C(S) is built at the Bremen factory, whereas the GT63 and GT are built at the Sindelfingen factory. One is in Northern Germany, the other one in Southern Germany. It's not impossible for one of the factories to run out of something while other factories still have stock. It's also possible that they have an issue with the paint shop in Bremen.

Through my paint fiasco I actually learned from the AMG C-class product manager (from Germany) that the C-class (and every other car in fact) will go through the exact same paint factory/process that even the AMG GTs go through (hence the additional 6-8 weeks for production time). I'm assuming he meant they get shipped to Sindelfingen in the C-class's case...

That sounds like a bottleneck then and I'm guessing they don't have enough capacity at the moment.

Polar white, then just wrap it satin grey.
