Obviously, at this point in a refresh model year -- pre- and early-production -- on a relatively limited production model, dealers are gonna be tight. Someone earlier in the thread indicated they got 5.2% off. While I won't divulge exactly what my deal was, I'll say that's in the general area of what I got. But, to get that, I had to get three dealerships in a small price war and fought for every 0.25% for almost a month. The other three dealerships in the area wouldn't even talk discounting them. On top of that, they all wanted $5K non-refundable deposits. I managed to secure mine for only $1K, but that took some wrangling, too.
I got a good deal for me. If my experience is typical, I'd say 4-6% is about all you should expect. In my opinion, if you can get more than 6, then good on ya (and I'll need to know the name and number of your dealership)!

Only add on I am considering is the Aero Package.. Problem is this is my Daily.. including Chicago Winters.. It's flat here so I am not too worried about traction but I still gotta deal with the snow and it is lower in the front. The guide I have with all the 2019 options has the aero but i think is the only option they don't have a pic of.. Really need a side by side comparison. I might get the mirrors and spoiler in carbon fiber after i get the car.. I wanna see how she looks first and cost is the same so I am told so I am not too worried about it.

aim for as much as you want i think generally dealer have total 12-13% mark up on their invoice price. It all depend on if the dealer wants to sell it to you or not. i got 5.2% on my cabriolet. Because they got me a 1028 model but came in with 1.2k miles on it as new. I didnt want it anymore and theres no more cars out there with the build i want. had no choice but to order the 2019 so they gave me a 5.2%. Coyld I have asked for 6% and get the deal? I think so. But I spoke to another dealer saying if they could give me 6 or better because i had the offer from another dealer already. And the sales just laughed and saying theres no way my manager would give you any discount on a pre order new model custom build car. But if your willing to wait and get their inventory, id say ask to speak with the manager that holds share in the dealership and for 11% discount. And meet them between 9-10%. Also you can bargin on finance rate and maintenance program too. Dont let them duke you on the finance rate when they lowered your drive out price.

I’ve just placed my order with Knauz in Illinois 10-3.
Not seeing the exhaust particulate filter on the US spec cars or in my standard options list so hoping we don’t get that.
Also have been told that the AMG Performance exhaust is now standard so I had no option for that but saw that on your order.

New to the MB game, coming over from my 4th BMW's but got my order confirmation last week and build sheet for my C63s Coupe. Looking at a late February delivery, but super excited for the car. I saw on one of the build sheets the AMG Performance steering wheel, i know the 2019's are getting a new wheel, was told it will be the same one from the AMG GT 4 door. But curious how the performance wheel differs from standard? My build is below, looking forward to spending time here and learning from everyone.

2018 vs 2019 is different shape and stuff. performance has alcantara micro fiber instead of leather.
anybody know if the L6J all leather steering wheel comes with red marker if interior is red? Just wanted to confirm it. i know the L6K and L6G comes with marker matching interior color. But im not a fan of alcantara. I had 2009 audi R-8 with alcantara and that steering wheel worn out so bad like a dog chewed on it lol.

Where do you find this information? Everything I've found from Mercedes-AMG says release is early 2019. My dealer can't/won't give me a date, but estimated I would be getting it at the end of November.

The c63/s isn't scheduled to be released until early 2019 according to Mercedes press release. Even when I called mbusa within the last 2 weeks they said q1 2019 release and couldn't even say what month. I hope they get them delivered sooner. I'm still waiting for allocation and I ordered mine sept 5th.
Just because a car is built that doesn't mean it will be delivered before they release that 2019 model.. Like I said before my dad's 2019 s63 sedan he ordered in April has been sitting at port in Maryland since mid August because Mercedes hasn't "released" that 2019 model.. Now they don't plan on releasing the S63 sedan until November sometime when originally they were planning to release it in September.
Praying our c63/s orders don't have that type of delay.
Last 2 years (2017 and 2018 model years), dealer received release from Mercedes corporate late September, early October. Not sure if the 2019 model year is following a similar release or something different. Best data is someone who has a 2019 order with build completion recently, and if they have the car or a date from the dealer.
