Those of you that have taken delivery already, any comments on the exhaust sound in person? Obviously it's difficult to capture in videos compared to in person.

For those of you who has ordered or seen the order sheet. How much is the carbon fiber steering wheel? I see the DINAMICA is only 100 extra. Id be interested to see how much more is the CF. Thanks

 

$400 extra.. I ordered it on mine i need all the carbon!! the dealer order guide says 450.. build sheet says 400 and my build date is mid-late feb.

 

Update from dealer: my car goes into production 12/17.. fingers crossed I'll get it before Christmas since I'll be gone for a whole month!!

Any of y'all ever do the extended warranty? I'm thinking I might keep the car long-term if it proves to be reliable.

Most likely not but I can hope right? I was told shipping would be a week or so after. I haven't communicated my vacation schedule yet. Very good chance I'm just going to have to collect it end of January but at least it'll be something to look forward to when I come back.

Yes, SA contacted me on Saturday and said the status on their system showes "ready for puckp" and he said "it should be assigned a driver and route any day now" I texted him earlier today asking the status and he said "it hasn't changed in the system but that they usually take delivery within 10 days from this point."

 

 

I've put in an order today with my dealer for my first AMG; allocation currently for february, hoping to get it pulled sooner. Any comments on the build are welcomed. I'm doing this in lieu of picking up a 2019 grey metallic that I found in GA.

I'm thinking about dropping B28 in favor of B26 (aero package) based on the comments in the thread here. The other thing I'm trying to confirm is if L6K (wheel in nappa/dinamica) will indeed be yellow at 12'oclock w/ yellow stitching. The order guide I have is current as of 12/3, so I'm assuming that L6K is as I'd expect.

Another curiosity is I'm not finding the "ENERGIZING comfort control" or the "Air Balance" package. I see them on the europe site, but they are missing from the 2019 guide as best I can tell.

I'm taking delivery of my 2019 AMG C63S Coupe tomorrow in Belmont, California.

 

 

I actually avoided carbon fiber entirely and went with the night mode + designo selenite grey magno paint and natural grain black ash wood for the interior. It's gonna be sweet.

 

Good call on that combo. On certain colors the gloss black of the night package looks better than carbon fiber imho. I've noticed sometimes carbon fiber can look muddled on an overcast day. Night package with the gloss black just pops. No matter what the lighting condition. Again, this is all based on personal taste/opinion and different color combos. Big upside is you saved a ton of dough as well.

 

Any EU based facelift owners yet that had a pre-facelift C63s? If so how does the exterior sound compare? Wondering if it's been affected due to the new filters they've had to fit to meet emissions regulations. Watched a video and it seems to be slightly more muted than pre-facelift when on the move

 

 

I'm pretty sure the aero pack has been delayed. My car was built on 11/22 and has been sitting at a German port since a few days after that. My SA had no idea why it's still delayed, so I called around to a few other dealers. One SA said he is pretty sure it has something to do with the aero pack because all of the aero pack cars are still in Germany.

This will be my first and last MB!
